Why did you give the ekster aluminum wallet 9 on functionality and gave the ridge 10? The ekster fans the cards out for you making it much easier to use, but on the ridge you have to take out the cards and fan them yourself.

the complaints about the 501 comfort likely come down to it being 100% cotton while the others likely have elastane (especially the 510 which is even tighter). you should be clear about the material compositions in these comparisons.

Lacoste is the best. Just go a size bigger cus they do shrink

I went to buy sweatpants from them, the material was whatever but what took me out was the fact that I noticed all of them had one leg shorter than the other…at first u wont notice it much in store until u wash it cause it shrinks even in cold, but afterwards it’s like…one long one short

They've always been pretty low quality Bangladesh manufactured stuff so you kinda get what you pay for there

I think as a general rule for mass retailers: quality is always decreasing. At best it might stay the same but if the imperative is to make a profit then they need to drop quality, raise prices or do both.

There’s a lot more acrylic and polyester blends these days. Hard to justify buying from there, but I honestly have no idea where else to shop for plain basics that aren’t riddled with logos/patterns that I’ll get sick of.

Yes definitely! There is definitely an uptick in polyester items, the linen items seem thinner overall, and the cuts/shapes are just not flattering at all for me anymore.

I've noticed this too. Material feels a lot thinner and the quality isn't the same. Some things are still okay, but you really need to put in the effort to inspect each item of clothing in person to check if the quality is okay.

I'm pretty sure this is a deliberate strategy companies use to keep profits going up every year. They start out with good quality products at a reasonable price. Everyone flocks to them. Then they slowly reduce quality (cost) and raise prices to try to increase profit. They hope no one will notice. Many don't until one day all a shop has is sacks of polyester at exorbitant prices. Then they tend to go out of business unless they change up their strategy, but it's never the same again.

Inflation in 2023 and 2024 has caught up with Uniqlo and t-shirts that used to be $10 are now $25 and jeans that used to be $30 are now $50.

Two questions: if it's so water repellent, how does it get washed? Also, the water repellent feature seems like it will be hot and not allow for heat/odors to escape?

Poorly constructed garments are mot worth the money. I only shop inner thermalwear at uniqlo. Their tbermal wear is pretty longlasting 😊
