So my old lock I want to replace is 50mm ext 45mm Internal. I want to have it flush as it sticks out external and can be snapped. Do I use same measurement or take 5 mm off ?

I use a hand brace and adjustable auger drill bit. I have two augurs that cover any diameter from 11 to 35 mill. Far more cost effective than buying fixed size large wood drill bits. I don’t recommend using a power drill. Brace and bit gives far more control. Secret is to ensure you keep the drill bit parallel to the door frame and drill slowly otherwise mistakes happen very quickly. Also use bevel-edged chisels to prevent damaging the surrounding wood.

Hello my name is Enville X. Rosado Benítez I am contacting you because I am having problems opening my safe. I recently bought it new and I have not been able to open it to program it and use it for my things. I need help. The keys came inside the box and therefore I put 4 AAA batteries in it, then I enter the code that came with the manual and it does not open. The green proceed light comes on indicating that the code is correct but it does not open the door of the safe. Please help me.

Can it ever be removed? For example I'm in a rented property and may need to move home at some point in the future

I think the Yale way is best. They state all their locks as for example 40-10-45 where the 10 is the middle lock.

Problem is when the lock and phone WILL NOT pair. Turned Bluetooth off, removed lock battery, stopped app and restart phone. Turned all back on and NOTHING. The lock appears in Bluetooth list but if you try and connect that way the lock refuses. Frustrating isn't the word !!

Android user : My recent findings were concerning when I read these comments as the led was not turning purple. Was writing out the problem to relay to Yale support when I remembered Android now thinks it is being helpful by automatically removing permissions from apps which have not been used for a period of time. I knew it was weird as my kids' have iPhones and the blutooth is communicating fine for them. I fixed it by going into the COnexis L1 app settings and turning access to blutooth back ON

If you really want it to stay you can shoot some epoxy in before the expanding bolts, just work fast enough tighten the safe down.

Door was hung the wrong way around,he didn't drill through a lock block,and you shouldn't really use an auger bit.

Hey hello, I have the doorbell too. it works fine but when someone rings the bell I only receive a small (text like) pop up on my Samsung A52. i was hoping to get a call screen as I do get when I have the app open. when I then ring the bell i get a niche whatsapp/skype like call screen. but it seems not possible when the app runs in the background. anyone struggled with this?
