It would be great if you conduct an online workshop for writing manuscripts and using AI softwares. In this way the authors can improve their writings and limit their total reliance on AI tools

What I found helpful was specifically asking ChatGPT to provide me with 'authentic references'. Always good to cross check. Excellent insights! Looking forward to more tips & tricks from you 2.

Asalam Alaikum Dr. Ali Khurram. I'm an M.Phil Oral Pathology student from Pakistan. I've been following your researches since I joined undergraduate teaching in a well-reputed dental college. Your work on artificial intelligence and deep learning along with your team (Dr. Nasir Rajpoot and co.) is revolutionary to say the least. It's great to watch, listen and learn from your experiences as a person. And being the part of the system here I can relate to them, it's sometimes frustrating but silent revolution is in progress. I hope the next decade will a decade of substantial change as the millennial will be in the decision-making positions. At personal level, I do consider myself as the victim of PMDC policy; the same preposterous rule that rejected the 1 year basic masters from UK by barring promotions. Even though I got into QMUL and Sheffield both, I had to make a tough choice to stay here in Pakistan and pursue my M.Phil here. Now I aspire for my PhD from abroad (preferably UK) but don't know how realistic the chances are. Any advice you'd like to give me? May be a motivational dose from my role model can help me do wonders. Regards.

Same sir! I realised this during my clinical experience that how influential i can be to a patient who looks up to me! Sadly, i dont want to persue fcps at all its a rat race and i dont want to turn bitter by the end of my 4 years like i see some of my seniors. All things all points u have mentioned i hope this reaches a lot of people so they work on it. I have applied for my visa snd inshaAllah once im relieved that visa is approved, i will be coming to qmul for msc oral pathology n im definitely going to bother u sir ali 😅🙈🙈

Great effort on your and your team's part Dr ASK. Really enjoyed Dr Khurram's insight on the past, present and future of Oral Pathology in Pakistan. Unfortunately the situation is similar in all the various faculties in Dentistry across the country. The insecurities of all present people in various specialities in undergraduate levels is a big reason of the stagnancy in Pakistan.

True. 5:20. The editorial process is not as proficient as international journals. This is one factor due to which research is slow in Pakistan. Not all journals but yes overall it is slow. Few journals are very proficient though. No international journal asks for an additional fee, in fact, either they provide a discount or waive off but nothing beyond the mentioned fee.

A good platform Samad Bhai. But if people start discussing their reasons for leaving Pakistan, it will be a very dangerous idea for some old guns of dental fraternity in Pakistan. Many idols will be smashed in eyes of young dentists …..

Not all but many Private colgs r the corporates in Pakistan playing with students malignancy has spread into post graduation as well sub standard graduates now sub standard post graduates as well

Nice to see all of you meeting after years. Bahzad has great sense of humour so well done Bahzad. Abbas, Sadia and Usman have done well too and seeing Usman after 23 years was a pleasure. Samad you are not a bad host buddy. Now the critics or what modern world calls a "Constructive feedback" 😂....Firstly would have been nice if full guidance was included for Pakistani graduates on how to start thinking about sitting in exam in all the three countries, obstacles were shared and what to expect ie practical hardships etc in different parts of the world. Secondly it would have been nice to hear about the pros & cons of moving to any overseas country from their perspective. Lastly, young graduates may like to know if life as a Dentist in overseas countries is exactly as luxurious as they think so the established Dentists could share their experiences. Now the suggestion part....I suggest that viewers shall be asked in advance about what they would like to know from their guests and questions shall be put forward to them during the episode. Well, if not l the questions can be included but top 5-6 will do. Last but not the least....RATING. Overall it was an excellent episode and I enjoyed every single minute watching it.
