Music like this anyway will get no views on CZcams if the artists are not signed and part of a big network. There are thousands of artists like this, but they get only 13 views per track and will never make it to a label, so there is much more stuff out there, but its nowhere promoted or published in the right way to get any attention.

It makes you think. Aphex and AE were at the top of branching off idm breaks/electro/acid at the same time and there was probably an unspoken truce saying "we're going this way and you go that way to make room for this sound between us so we both make our own imprint ". Or it was just good ole' bangers flying out of the studios like a night time graffiti bombing mission or a breakdancing crew showing their latest moves.
