wow, and to think all I do with my R1T is drive to town! Okay, sometimes I haul stuff or pull things. But it can do that!!

Im on the edge of buying one R1S, but unsure on two things? How low it could be driven? the garage dor on my work is only 2,0mtrs on a slope, son probably have like 1,85mts effectively. The second quiestion is if the navigation systema would work overseas (South America)... I have a tesla here, it works perfectly fine, updates, GPS, connectivity.. but the Built in Navigation. Would the rivian be the same?

Sorry for photobombing one of your shots. 🤣 Some really nice improvements. Not enough to make me want to upgrade but very nice. I can't wait for the next software update for the Gen1 R1. One thing that is disappointing is that we're hearing that we can't control the lighting on the Gen 1 like they're doing on the Gen2. The Gen 1 has RGB lights, so that makes no sense.

Too bad they didn't bring the new steering wheel controls to the R1S Gen 2 that they previewed in the R2 and R3 models. I guess that will be a Gen 3 upgrade?

Rivian told us the camp speaker will work if you charge it in your house using a laptop power cord. Then it plays for 3 hours. Then recharge. The R1s don't provide enough power to the camp speaker to fully charge it to play properly.

The updated cameras, blind spot camera views and new unreal engine graphics are amazing!

Is this a Rivian Quad Motor Large Battery Pack? If so 2 miles per kwh aint too bad for mostly highway driving, packed car, and in some cold weather. Roughly 260 miles on a full charge.

Have you considered adding a win deflector on the front cargo crossbar? I see them all the time on Subarus and other similar vehicles. I wonder if having the wind deflected up at an angle instead of hitting the vertical tent box would increase range/decrease wind resistance much.

It’s a shame it’ll never make large scale production as they already lose $50k+ per high end truck, and have no way to scale. They’re on pace for bankruptcy by mid ‘25.
