I think it's fine if you release video's as you do work. I would recommend to create playlists per project so that people can look back at full projects as if it's a big video and still stay up to date on current work. Thanks for the update! Nice workshop!

What car are those stealies from?
Here in Europe we get them on a opel insignia. But the wheel has a gm stamp. And exist in the USA aswell. It's also 5x120 but centre needs to be drilled to fit the hub and wheels themselves have been banted/widened.

Was the previous clutch just a stock one for 316i? Do you think a stock clutch is enough for drifting? If I understood correctly, you drifted for 4 years on the stock clutch, which is quite all right. So do you think it's pointless to install some sport version of the clutch?
Yes but a stock one works just fine for now. When we add the turbo and some more power I need to upgrade the clutch . Also will be running a zf gearbox

@@alexnljnpras far as I know a stock clutch can hold up to 40% power gain. On average. Not saying it will last long at that point.
@@theslidingdutchman are these 40% for daily driving or drifting? I guess this number can be different depending on how often one burns the clutch. One thing for a clutch to work as it's designed to. When it undergoes 10 clutch kicks per minute, that's another story :D
Why were the first two clutches not compatible? Did you buy it online with the RealOEM number?
Ordered on autodoc long time ago... Always a mistake... Then I got the wrong size. 3rd one was right

Ik heb het gevoel dat een 940 turbo (2.3) sneller is maar kan ook de video zijn
Denk ik ook wel dit was een 2.0 turbo.
Snel is anders ja. Ik heb hem zo getuned dat die tussen 3k en 4,5k rpm op 0,9 bar druk draait want de originele benzine pompen krijgen de 440cc injectors niet voldoende gevoed. Eind deze maand nieuwe pomp erin, paar extra sensoren voor de MaxxECU en dan laat ik hem voor het eerst professioneel tunen. Vanwege de zwakkere drijfstangen in deze volledig originele 1988 B200ET wil(/kan) ik niet heel veel verder gaan dan 1,2-1,4 bar. Daar een tijdje op rijden(dit is m'n daily) en dan zit ik nog te dubben of ik de 2.0 ga opbouwen of een 2.3 erin swap en die opbouwen.
@@ttimonn nice. Vriend van me heeft nu een 16t op een 2.3t gebouwd. Hele blok gereviceerd enz. Vx3 nokkenas erin en verder niks veranderd. Ben benieuwd hoe die gaat als die klaar is binnenkort

Hey mate did you have to weld the rear springs on the bottom mount plate? I'm wanting to cut my 940 springs but don't have the money for shorter shocks right now, just wondering if the rear springs will slip out if the car gets too much travel and did the front springs fit fine with the stock shocks once you cut them?
Yeah the do like to come out but a thick metal hose clamp hold them in place aswell. For tge time being. It's just to guide the back. Ther are bolted to the top. But welding it would be best
