im just straight up getting taunted on, i have the same laptop and i run it in 50 fps on low settings and with mods that give additional fps for the price of making it a potato

I have an HP Victus laptop with RTX 3050 6GB graphics and i5 13gen and on every setting (in the game file, in nvidia settings) I get terribly jumpy fps between 30 and 64. Any idea what to do? Is there any mod that fixes this broken optimization?

You use turbo mode right?

Anyone thinking this game is being bottlenecked - far cry 6 came out not even a year and a half after the 3700x released. A higher end ($329 on launch) CPU isn’t going to be bottlenecked by a game that released that close. If that’s how long it took for a high end CPU to bottleneck, the PC industry is in trouble. Also, the CPU utilization is low = it isn’t being overly worked and has more room to go for performance. The culprit is likely a silly ubi game glitch where if you don’t run it as administrator, the game under utilizes hardware for some reason. It’s a known issue.

I have the same set up man, other than my cpu being a ryzen 7 5800x but my frames don't exceed 85? my system is being under utilised as well. No idea why

Is the CPU at its limit? Why is the GPU not running at full capacity?

Do tou know what TDP your card is? 50W? 35W?

What was the avg FPS?

how much better is the i5 12450H than the ryzen 5 7535hs? i've been thinking of getting the hp victus 16

cpu usage on this kinda annoying. it can't seem to use more then two/three cores effectively relying on windows to do most of the scaling. i get about 100fps on all maps with 140 total AI on a gtx 1070 and i5 8600k 4.7ghz not bad or unplayable by anymeans but nether ever go above 50% usage.

damn i thought 4070 will perform better

When neither the CPU or GPU is at 100% then what is the bottleneck?

question. out of nowhere i have some massive spike lags when playing, i used to have like 60+ fps and now i get 15-30 fps. I did have to downgrade my graphics driver because of a lighting glitch in inventory which luckily fixed

Whats funny is that when i play new vegas on the same laptop it runs pretty badly with low FPS, but damm this looks clean.. i guess 76 is more optimized huh?

i cant understand why i can play games like baldurs gate and elden rung at max settings but i cant get fallout 4 to run more than 20 frames unless the screen is small. how do i fix this?

do you know why i can play on ultra no man sky on 1660 ti, but no man sky VR low settings i have average 1-2 fps?

Looking at this, I am more thankful for the Forbidden West, Alan Wake 2 and Avatar optimization.

The 3700x only just hanging in there 5 years later, love this CPU, 4070 is the highest GPU I'd pair this with, anything more and there is a bottleneck

u may need to improve ur cpu on such settings, gpu usage dips below 90% here and there

i have 3050ti but i get avarage 40fps with high-ultra settings.

Good example of being bogged down by the CPU, you should be getting 140fps at 2k with that GPU.

upload more shorts of these videos that way CZcams might push it and u can gain subs and views
