BMW, I know you don't want to hear it... but this ad sucks. 99.9% of the people that buy this car will be (actual) men and most of them a measure more masculine than the goofball used in the ad. A sports car is, for your target demo (dudes with slightly higher than average testosterone levels... or aspiring to such) more than mere conveyance; it is a steed - a trusty side-kick and a reliable source of inspiration in an otherwise unpredictable world which seems every day more hellbent on sucking the life out of us. Jesus! I saw this ad pop up and, for a moment, was a car crazy 18 year old (now 43) raving BMW fan, but then watched the damned thing and thought, "What in the actual F is this?" So very disappointed... again. Want to sell more cars? Rule #1: Know your audience (Hint: It's not the overlords cramming DEI and ESG down everyone's throats).

Still ugly AF. Please bring back analog gauges. Please stop charging monthly fees for features. Please stop styling your car hideously.

Beautiful car, but here in Germany, where laughably BMW has its home, this car is at approx. 110,000 € for 95% of the German population simply unattainable. Germany is in the midst of a cost of living crisis, with most Germans poor, unhappy and watching helplessly as the rich get richer, and the middle class disappear into a black financial hole. But, we can dream🤷🏼‍♂️
