I got me some shoe goo for reinforcing Lexan RC body shells. I was curious how the glue would effect tires. I saw no one else had tried this. Thank you for showing in your video. Now i at least find out that shoe goo does not destroy the rubber. Now i can try experiment to see if i can get more life out of my Felony tires with shoe goo. Right now, i glue over the area of the tire where the belt started to show. Maybe it doesn't work, but it is worth a try, the tires are worn out, so i lose nothing. Thank you for trying this experiment.

I've been using Conformal Coatings for a long time. Urethane, Silicone, Epoxy & Acrylic. Please, anyone using Conformal Coatings for the first time, PLEASE pay attention to the warning labels. This is harmful stuff if you just sit there sucking up the fumes like itz a scented candle! Wear a proper mask, use a fan, use it outdoors, and be mindful of pets if you have them! They are smaller so the fumes will hurt them much worse and much quicker! Have fun, protect your gear, but most of all protect yourself and the ones you LOVE!

Wow this video helped me allot I am pretty new to crawling and bought some nice used crawlers, 1060 and 1040 , well the batteries looked rough so I bought some big 5200 mah 80c batteries from Amazon the first run my esc stopped after just crawling for about ten minutes, the second esc I installed I robbed from another one of my crawlers it was the 1040 it lasted 5 minutes throttle quit and up in smoke it went so that led me to this video, I'm gonna try the hobbywing 1080 I've heard great things about it, but I'm glad I ran across this I thought me being new was smoking them up lol

hey guys! i love your dedication to RC! Much respect there. One thing i could give a thumbs down to the Stampede for (or ANY Traxxas) is that they do not have available Assembly Guides for builders!!! I mean whats that about?! Traxxas DID get their name in the RC world for offering the first "True RTR Hobby Grade RC". But that's not really an excuse to not offering build guides! They do offer Exploded Veiw Diagrams but not one Step By Step Assembly Guide! So sad (imo), Keep up the good work Traxxas! 😅 OH! And thank you for not destroying me with my comment to the Stampede vs Arrma race video. You showed complete maturity and gained all my respect!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Here is the math I mentioned in that video: [To figure out if the battery your using can supply the contstant AMPS that your motor (and thereby your ESC) demand/require]: Take your batterie's mAh rating and drop the "m" so a 5000mAh batt would be 50Ah so you have the Amp rating vs the Milliamp rating. Then multiply that Amp rating times the true "C" rating of the battery. So a 50c - 5000mAh battery would look like this in our math: 50Ah × 50c = 250Amps. This is imperative to know so we don't use a battery that cannot offer enough Amps for what the motor/esc need. You can damage any part of the running gear using battz that can't give enough Amps, up to and including servo, radio, esc, motor and even the battery itself. The battery in my example can be used with any 250amp (constant) ESC. You can also use this same equation for your battery's "Max Amp" current supply ability by substituting the "Contstant 'C' Rating" with the "Burst 'C' Rating". Amps are how Current is measured (a measure of the flow of electricity in a measure of time). Volts is the Pressure created (when you turn on faucet with a hose attached the hose needs to be able to handle the pressure, you wouldn't use a garden hose on a fire hydrant! This is why larger amp ESCs need better connectors and thicker gauge wires. Turning on a REALLY POWERFUL esc one might actually see or feel the power wires JUMP!) . And finally a Watt is how we measure how much electricity is used. (Volts × Amps = Watts) Thank you again for your hard work making these videos and bringing the world of RC closer to the WORLD!!!!

Thanks for the explanation! My motor has the timing adjusting slot but it does not start by itself unless I try to spin the rotor manually.. and when it stops is the same everytime spin it and restart, what could be the problem?
