At the modifying page, what if you don't need to modify but also want to add the option. I saw three modifiers but none of them gave he option to gist order the item (pizza in this case). I like having modifyuers pop up automatically IF AND ONLY IF the server is required to ask something on the item like the temp of the steak or type of meat on a taco, for example. But, let's say I have a menu item that doesn't require a MoD. Can I set it up to where the server enter taco; auto mod screen pops up; default meat is beef and the customer wants beef; how the server get out of the MoD screen?

I recently started to bartend where they use clover. Please help! Two major issues they don’t seem to be able to solve. One is for tabs there seems to be no way for us to custom label the customers tab with their name or a way to quickly identify the order in a sea of orders. We are currently writing down the order number in a paper pad with the customers name next to it. We have to refer it it each time to find an order. This is time consuming and redundant. Two every time we send a food order to the kitchen we have to “incheck” every single drink order before we hit print to kitchen so none of the drink orders print back there. It’s a bar so this is again very time consuming and odd.

How can you add an RF gun to the clover mini to add products to inventory??? I have two different models of guns and none of them are scanning the barcodes.

customer service is the worst. just to replace a printer, 2 weeks... as a business this cannot pass. go with something else.

The many ways in which Clover Flex has become my companies liability and constant source of embarrassment. 1. Very often we do NOT take real time payments. Even tho I pay for a cell network it hardly works and I have to wait for payment processing til 4am. If someone’s card is declined I won’t know until the next day. Deal breaker 1a. I can put my Flex att next to my iPhone att, and your Flex will have a weak signal next to a full signal on my phone. 2. The device shuts itself down multiple times a day, and takes 6-8 minutes to ‘secure the apps’ before turning on. A constant source of embarrassment for my employees as customers must stand around and wait for processing (not in real-time mind you) 3. Very often when taking card payments the screen goes to ‘processing’ and freezes, only to have to rebooted again while customer waits. 6-8 minutes 4. Receipt often doesn’t print until compartment is opened and paper roll gets manually adjusted. 5. App Store is filled with many useless apps and constant up selling 6. Time card app very often doesn’t record time in west coast time zone, causing constant confusion between labor and front office. 7. Scheduling apps have lil functionality and belong in 2009 8. When calling customer support the first woman I spoke with was sleepy, and was whispering until I requested a transfer. The second guy told me to ‘shut up’ before hanging up on me, while refusing to let me speak with a manager.

Almost every App in the Clover app market is an up sell. They give you a basic demo version than charge you $15-$30 a month for use, ha. I put a Square chip reader on my phone and get them all for .99, this company is a scam. Google First Data, their parent company, if you need proof.

Have they actually fixed the crashing issues with Clover or has it stayed the same? Also, the reviews are making a lot of complaints about the customer service from Clover. Clover would be perfect if it weren't for those issues.
