If that parking lot is private property, the only sign that is legally binding would be Handicap Parking spaces, as they fall under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

You do not have to stop for stop signs on private property and they cannot write you a ticket for failing to stop. This was definitely staged.

Here's another point to consider. If the property in this video is owned by the strip mall company, then it is considered private property. In such a case, I have been told by police officers in the past that they have no jurisdiction for a traffic infraction on private property. It happened when my car was struck in the side rear panel by someone trying to beat me into a parking space while I was slowly backing in. It was at a Publix supermarket. The officer admitted I was in the right, but he could not ticket the other driver because we were both on private property. He wrote up the incident report stating the other driver was at fault, and even though no ticket was issued, the other driver's insurance paid for my damage.

Total setup and killing by cops! This is insane that he's in prison because a cop shot him! No more immunity for cops!

"Running" a stop sign in a public parking lot is not a traffic violation. Parking lots are typically private property. In Canada anyway, they do not fall under provincial legislation regulation of the traffic act. This video is clearly a setup. The Police Officer is certainly a horrible actor. "Two cammera guys watching a car with no operator, wonder who I should talk to" ... pretends not to see anyone.

Who programmed this car to drive? What a terrible driver. This should still be in Alpha testing phase, certainly not for sale to the general public! This is so terrible; technology is not quite there yet!
