My Netgear AC1750 only gives 200 Mbps on the 300 Mbps with my Spectrum 300 Mbps internet plan. I bought brand new Ethernet cables as well. When I connect directly to my MAC speed test jump to 350+ Mbps, after connecting to my AC1750 my speed drops to about 210 Mbps. What can I do?

I just purchased this router and I don't have a separate ISP modem, so am I just connecting the cat5 cable into my WAN "yellow" slot and I should be good to at least get going?

I've had this router for 2 years now, but recently upgraded from 200mbps to 400mbps from my ISP. For some reason I cannot get speeds higher than 250 mbps (wired) from the router, though I confirmed my modem is pumping out 400mbps (direct ethernet test). I've tried everything in the book, but nothing as worked. Switching to a cheaper, newer TP Link so hopefully that'll do the trick...

So what I’m understanding is that You have to disable your own WiFi that your using like (Xfinity - AT&T - sprint etc.) to use the WiFi from NETGEAR router??? Kinda new to all of this just wanting a bit more network speed for gaming.

Just picked this up. Hoping for mich faster speeds for my devices because i do have many plus trying to mitigate traffic congestion mid day as much as possible. Do you still have and use this router? If so, since you have used it. Did you have to subscribe to the firewall software since the internet wifi is off? I had read that it is basically necessary. Lastly..do you still love the router after a cpl years? Thanks for the video. Other videos stated i needed to assign a static IP for the new router. You didn't and it worked just fine. Thank you for showing the website. The newer releases just come with a card telling you to download their nighthawk app on a mobile device. The app is not great and would not initialize my router. Using the browser i was able to make it work
