I used to think the black wolf is an enemy of some sort that is plotting against Arthur, as thats how dreams are explained in my culture and other old cultures. And when you visit Arthur’s grave after fully completing the game you’re able to see the black wolf roaming around the grave. I’m not sure if you’re able to catch him though as I failed and couldn’t find any other videos out there talking about it, but I either way rockstar did this way over the top 🔝

Chapter 1-5 Low Honor Chapter 6 High Honor Seems more in line with the story, and maybe Arthur did some self reflection after the doctor's visit, and the dialogue of Arthur going soft only really makes sense if you've been a bad person before, and I believe it makes the endong sadder, after seeing so much self development and change
