A lotttt of people are from out of state so you won’t be alone with that aspect. Just know since everything is all over the place because of covid, some decisions that the school makes aren’t the best for out of state students. For example, they moved our spring break from the end of March to literally last week, which sucks for people who needed/bought plane tickets , etc. We’ve had a few situations like that
did any furniture come with the dorm?
Yes the couch, tv stand , bed frame, mattress, desk chair, desk, and dresser

Pretty sure it’s Laurel Hall; if you look out her bedroom window, the building you see looks like Holshouser Hall, and they’re right next to each other on campus, so it’s probably Laurel

Hey, I am in the deciding process right now. Is it guaranteed to get a dorm where you have your own room with a shared living room and bathroom?
It depends. You just have to apply for suites style rooms and hope you get placed in it. The sooner you apply for housing the better

I applied the second the application opened. The building I’m in is super competitive so I got lucky
