You were comparing Dan's Sound of Silence with the "original" by Disturbed but the original was actually by Simon and Garfunkel and released and became famous back in 1965. Disturbed's version is also a cover and not the original as is Dan's.

Just to correct a few minor misinformations - 'Sound of silence', the original was by Simon and Garfunkel in 1964, but yes it was the Disturbed coverversion that Dan made. 'My heart will go on' was not written by Celine Dion, but by James Horner and Will Jennings.

Erik was the lead singer for Skid Row. He left to spend more time getting his health better after going through a bone marrow transplant. He is cancer free now but doing so much traveling wasn't good for him. He is such a great singer!!!

As someone else suggested, you should definitely check out Tommy Johansson as well. His voice is phenomenal. He is lead singer/guitarist of Majestica, and was also guitarist in Sabaton for a number of years. He does a ton of solo work on his YT channel - uploading a cover almost every Friday. And he covers everything from Disney to Celine Dion to all things metal. His most popular is She's Gone (Steelheart) with 2.2 million views and 43K likes. I think of these three singers, his voice is the strongest and richest. He also does a collab with Erik, covering a Sabaton song - Carolus Rex. It's stellar. Cheers!

Eric Grönwall did a cover with Dan Vasc (Breaking The Silence) and another with Tommy Johansson (Carolus Rex). Tommy is a Swedish metal singer and I highly recommend you check out his cover of "She's Gone". It's epic!

Great reaction and love to hear Dan. If you are wanting to get into music yourself check out some of Dan's video that are not songs in his catalog. He put out one how to be a CZcams singer and about music mixing. He also has some Q & A's that are very funny and informative. You could easily do a part 4 on just he Witcher songs. Toss A Coin To Your Witcher, Burn Butcher Burn, The Song Of The White Wolf, Priscilla's Song both original and metal versions. Might want to check a band called Orion's Reign that Dan was a part of for a short time Elan or Thunderstruck. It early yet but Dan has some epic Christmas songs like O'Holy Night. Looking forward to more reactions.
