Very nice car, even wih the smell, lol.
Where did you get the black shifter panel from ?
How many cans did it take you for each section (primer/color/clear)?
Awesome video bro, appreciate it watching from Melbourne 👍🏽
Another solid video, Just straight to the point with everything! We specifically produce LEDs for auto. Can we invite you to do a review for our product? We have emailed for an inquiry.
Push the key in and turn it toward you a few more clicks then pull it out 🙄
Could you please share the purchase link of this push button setup?
Sure.. www.garage16.ca/product/48236/ghost-key-plug-and-play-push-to-start-conversion-kit-honda-civic-06-11 this is the direct link to where i bought it, but they are different for other makes and models
Keep up the good work, loving all the tips on the different models you are working on
Much appreciated thank you!
Put a scissor jack between the spring perch and the body easy peasy
That is one way to do it!
Nate gotta get his facts straight. Everyone, say it with me: IT IS NOT A D SERIES ENGINE, IT IS AN F SERIES.
Nate just doesn't learn!
Whats the tool you used to get off the surface rust?
I used an air powered 90 degree angled die grinder, they are great for rust removal. if you don't have access to compressed air Milwaukee makes an electric version
Thanks for making this videos. I had a really hard time taking those bolts out, too. When i tighted up the new 8mm bolts i didnt know we have to breake off the head. I didnt do that. Would it still be ok.
It will be fine, but thief could technically unbolt it. Most thieves will assume the are gone already haha
to remove the key from the ignition all you need is to push it into ignition twist it to the left and it comes out
Didn't work with this car unfortunately!
got a 93 ex 5 speed with 213k, good car
great car! Nice find with the stick! any plans or it?
@@garbcargarage1006 saving lots of money and having lots of fun maybe a f20b swap so i can rev out past the guage once my f22a6 goes but so far im in love
Wat brand headers are they pacesetters
The were a popular 90s brand call Ractive
What happened to the cb7
Nate has taken a break from the channel as he has had to deal with some very serios family matters
Why did this episodes end?
😅😂No that's not a security thing
new sub brother keep pumping out the 8th gen civic content! what spray cans did you use ?
The Blue is a Boost Blue Metallic from an 11th gen civic and the one for the cross member is a generic aluminum rust paint. thanks for watching
Im about to do the same on my 2015 500 pop , how necessary was it to remove the tack welded screws? Can you reuse them and leave them in place? Thanks for the video! Super helpful
Yes the were stripped and seized because of the salt they use on the winters here. If you can unbolt them you can 100% re-use them
Awesome, thank you!
Thanks for watching, much appreciated!
Classic!!!
Thanks for watching
3:55 classic!
I little frustrated with this one I was
Niceeee. Did this on my '12 accord. My only criticism is that you should have spent a few minutes talking about ampacity vs wire length. How to measure voltage drop ect....but that said awesome video! Actually watched until the end!
Thanks For watching! I had a segment on that actually but i cut it out thinking it would be over most people's heads. Thanks again!
13mm bolts? You so crazy
With rot its possible
Link to all of the items?
Ill add them to the description, thanks for watching
Hey dude i got the same car on 2010 model, does after installing the ignition coils you felt any difference?
Kinda of hard to tell. With how bad the plugs were, I cant tell if it was the better coils, the new plugs or a combination of both. The car is more responsive since the upgrade. I think you will only see the benefits at higher RPMS
@@garbcargarage1006 Thank you I have some problem especially in uphills
I've had my 91 accord lx 5 speed for 14 year give or take a year
they literally last forever
Any links for the products you used
yup, here is the amazon listing for the speaker rings and wiring harnesses
Sorry didn't reliaze the link didn't copy, I have added it to the description
More transitions!
will work on it for next time for sure
Did you tune after install? None if ne gain without I feel.. ?? Maybe a negative effect?? Lemme kno please!! I want 2 add one header an leave other stock manifold or do short an long.. so unequal length sound I want for my bmw e46.. idk if will work out but I want that subaru sound if I gain or not not big deal.. tuning after I get all mods on car to make best of.. ty God bless
Tuning with an exhaust and intake will always help with gains, no Hondata on The Accord, The BMW e46 will be getting a head back exhaust eventually with catless headers and a full Magnaflow system. Thanks for the view
do you NEED the hot glue on it? or any adhesive?
Hot Glue will Help it Stay on the bottom and you wont see it
Very Nice, Thanks for making these videos.
Thanks I appreciate the view and the comment. Big things are coming for this car!
Hey I see you guys are from ON Can I got a E46 I need some help with like bad bad 😢
What's going on with it?
I have a fg1 (r18a1 stock) is it worth installing this filter?
Minor gains, without a tune but makes the engine sound much more aggressive. I like the sound and watched with an exhaust you should see some improvements
Im definitely considering this
Do it, the sound is so much better, even with cheap speakers. Thanks for the view!
You should drop a link in the description for those vibration bushings. I can’t find them lol
here you go! www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07GXLBQ8X/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Will you need the shift boot retainer/collar?
Just the lower one, but it is easily transfered
Looks Like a Gundam. Nice
Very Colorful indeed, still not done under the hood but so far a huge improvement
Wouldn't be GCG without Dave struggling
Pretty much the formula for any video
I couldn’t even watch all of it because they were just hating on such a beautiful car the CB seven is one of the greatest 90s cars of all time way better than any civic and I love civics but the CB sevens are such beautiful cars and they are perfect
The platform in general was a great car, this in in particular needed a tone of work....
Loved it please continue this series i am getting lot of inspiration from it to work on my civic
I have Big plans for this car, so there should be no shortage of videos. Appreciate the view!!
What a Pain, bet you won't do that one again
The only real advantage is all the room you gain under the cowl for future mods, Thanks for watching!
Where did you place an order? I will never buy anything from there.
All ordered online, not the first time i have had issues
post a update on the cb!!!
Great stuff! I was wondering how you guys tackled the inside rust near the battery? Same process as the fender?
Very similar, used a die grinder with a carbide and a right angle one with a standard grinding disc
What a shame, that's nice survivor. There starting to bring money now.
I’m not a mechanic correct me if I’m wrong but was there not coolant leaking out of the intake when it was running?
Yes, the coolant cross over hose provided in the kit actually split at the base. I didn't see it from inside the car until there was some steam. I had to cut about half an inch of the bottom of the hose re-clamp it and it was good to go
Will you be doing more videos on the accord ?
Well done Dave!
Thanks, I think I'm getting the hang of this editing thing!!
