Stanley No. 71 router plane. Not A Restoration.
picked up a Stanley No.71 Router plane from an estate sale. was in good shape and actually still sharp.
I go through my cleaning and preserving process.
I clean the tool with WD-40 and a soft wire brush to try and preserve as much of the original nickel plating as possible.
after I remove the grime and most of the surface rust I flood it with a little rust check rust inhibitor and let it dry.
while it's drying I touch up the knobs with some walrus oil.

my wife wanted a sign to tell people to go away, so I made her one. it's built using pine project panels from the home Depot and some paint from my local Dulux store. I used my band saw but a jig saw would be able to do the job as well. also if you do not have a thickness planer like myself you could but 1/8 inch plywood to make the accent pieces. built my own babbling birdbath, the soothing noise and fresh water attract chickadees sparrows and of course all kind of other birds. simple construction using a "barrel" (plastic pot), a 2.5 gallon pail, some egg crate light diffuser and a pump with some tube. I recently purchased the Donner DDP-80 and have been thoroughly impressed with its performance. The keyboard's build quality, key responsiveness, and overall design exceeded my expectations. The only downside was the shipping experience with Canpar, which could have been smoother. Despite that, the product itself is a fantastic value for its price.

probably the last update on this aquarium for a little while, fish are all moved in but as soon as I completed it the filter pump pooped the bed on me. I designed this AIO aquarium to be easy to maintain so let's see how hard it is to change the pump out.

Next time, instead of drilling such a large hole, simply drill a notch in the lip of the barrel so the water level can be a bit higher.

Yes there is I made it about the same size as the hose so it's a nice tight fit

It is a silhouette cameo 4 pro, it's mainly used for cutting craft vinyl like a supersized Cricut, but it also has an adapter for markers to work like a large format plotter.

It's likely landscaping fabric.

We just completed ours! Do you have tannins in your water? We drained ours and cleaned it and filled it back up and seems a bit less
Yeah I just got it completed and it's got some tannins. I think it will go away with time though.

Not much of a birdbath since the water level is so low and doesn't allow for a bath. Other than that, its a great design.
The hummingbirds actually prefer to take bath with this style of water bubblers fountain
They just splash in the little water spout. I do want to try one with a shallow pool as well though. Maybe I'll use that for the next one
@@borisbuilds The one I built a few years ago, I used a clear plastic flower pot saucer (from under the pot) and filled with a few stones for birds to stand on. Since the saucer is 1" deep, it holds enough water for the birds to bathe. They love it and splash water everywhere, lol. Its basically the big flower pot, with upside-down bucket inside to cover the pump, and the saucer on top of the bucket. The saucer is almost as wide as the big pot, but there is a 1-inch gap all around for the water to spill over the saucer back into the big pot.
I love that idea, I'm going to have to try it out.

That would work for the initial fill, but I've been getting a couple days out of the water using some oxysparkle and a sock filter. And the heater is nice because I don't need to keep it warm I can just warm it up as I need it.

I think that was originally a fishing tackle box. The slots in the trays were for dividers to keep hooks, etc from tangling. Great video, nice restoration.

I bought this one NEW. Still works great. It lives on a rolling cart in my work room so I can clean behind it. Dust collection is mostly useless.
Dont cycle. Put that blue stuff in to camcel out the chlorine, wait about a day and put fish in. Your making it WAAY to complicated! And putting those nice backgrounds always gives a beautiful feel to any fish tank

Why does it have EMG Hz pick-ups Kirk plays EMG bone breaker active pickups it's not a true signature model without that.
because its the cheapest model. though i dont think the guitar comes with the emg hz, apparently those pickups suck
