Why do all my Bartlet Pears taste Bitter?
These are like candy when perfectly ripe. They have a slight tartness that counterbalances the pear sweetness. I think it makes them special.

I bought some anju pears in the local grocery 2 weeks ago left on the counter, and they are still not ripe what is going on here. I had the same problem with Bartlett pears threw them out after 3 weeks.
