    No excuse for not having better evidence if leopards are regularly using an area. Within a month probably, if the claim female & male are present, clear irrefutable evidence, hoax free. At lease some of the examples shown are fabricated hoaxes, have to do better.

      Fabricated hoaxes , According to you , pictures don't show cats and field signs are fabricated , and yet the cameras keep catching them and the signs are present . With a tom cat passing by maybe once possibly twice in a year , travelling in a single direction most of the terrain it covers the cat would leave no visible traces .when using the pathways where we have found tracks the cat hasn't strolled along its length leaving multiple prints , it,s used the track for a short distance as a crossing point , our woodlands are covered in deep leaf litter and the numerous animal runs/ trails cris- cross on the sides of steep hillsides finding tracks would be a miracle. We don't need to fabricate evidence and the fact that you imply we do doesn't harm our character it just shows yours.

    • @johnmead8437

      @@marionsadventuresincameraland. This video has clearly fabricated &/or misidentified "evidence". That is obvious even from seeing the video, and they can be easily manipulated or indistinct enough to make information undetermined instead of obvious incorrect. Bluntly, if a leopard ("a", = lone, not a breeding flock of them) was present the natives would be very aware and it would quickly make headlines. Not due to danger to people (& children could potentially be at peril, sweet little monkey snacks), but other traits make them insufferable neighbours. And they are not too difficult to detect if the old hunters recollections are correct, although actually seeing one isn't so easy (enter the magic of trail cams). There is a very good reason all the leopard photos claimed in Britain are suspect, but like the other key evidence absent, informing the jokers would cause a rash of those evidence factors to be copied by the cult. The intriguing possibility one or 2 of these have been smuggled there is finite. The sheer volume of reports so easily and obviously wrong says more about the mentality of the witnesses than the overpopulation of big cats, bigfoots, thylacines etc than the health of the cryptid populations.

    Let me put it this way. Years ago friends set up cameras on their property to see what wildlife they have (in the countryside) and got fabulous stills of what appeared to be a huge black cat. Looked just like a panther and locals got quite excited. Until someone came back from holiday and pointed out it was actually their cat, but the way/the angle the cameras took the images you'd swear it was the size of a leopard. Sorry but this reminds me of that, only their images were much better.

A species incidentally that doesn't behave as described. There are thylacine awareness groups also with as lost souls giving those who have done something really stupid the chance to find, comparatively, they are not so sad and deluded after all. British leopards etc. All which have a remotely finite possibility of existing, just most of the information presented is ridiculous or deception. An entire cult exists competing for the most delusional interpretations of things that might remotely be thought as bigfoots, Tasmanian tigers, In an era of reality TV it's easy to see why artificial information attracts some. It's humour in a saddish fashion, just need to follow trumps daily after-court speeches to see how widespread it is, and how believed and popular obvious false witness can be.. It's not foolish to doubt claimed actions from an animal beyond it's capabilities. Or claims of a female specimen (when it's not even the species claimed). Or some amateur has any but the remotest possibility of getting sound evidence, lottery odds or less. But they can provide evidence of delusion or ignorance. I have seen various articles from supposedly educated scientists and countryside ' experts' dismissing the possibility of big cats living and thriving in the UK. Personally, anything the BBC say these days is highly questionable ( a once repected broadcaster) and should be treated with caution. Big cats do exist, including Black Leopards ( I have seen two over the years), Puma/Mountain Lion, and Lynx. Also slightly smaller cats, such as Caracal, Serval and Ocelot. The number of reports each year, increasing amounts of footage, and various field signs etc are undeniable, plus local authorities are aware and geared up to swiftly remove dead bodies from roads.

    Why is there a virtual news black out on this subject? Why are all active events or residual evidence swept up & made to disappear after any incident or sighting is reported to the authorities? If this is then perhaps the case, wild boar & other previously extinct fauna have been reintroduced by specific design into the UK, possibly in order to bolster the readily available natural food sources of prey animals for such large felines now furtively roaming in & around the British countryside??!! For what plausible reasons & explanations on why such considerably large areas are then being left for effectively fallow land & then being rewilded with species of potentially dangerous wild animals that no one really wants roaming & are apparently now, even breeding freely inside our countryside & farming areas? This scenario then prompts the question that ‘have wild boar, beavers, some other deer species & European bison actually been since also brought back to Britain, just to really feed & sustain big cats that were purposely released 40 or 50 years ago, in order to recreate a situation that wouldn’t then be unlike ones that had existed in medieval & pre-medieval times??!!’ If so then why? For what good purpose or reason does such things serve, if true??!! I think it feels as if some dark, insidious, Machiavellian scheme is being quietly & subtly instituted by the shadowy powers-that-be, & has been already set into motion now for quite some years. If this horrid & dystopian prospect is then the actual reality, it is something that we will certainly all probably live to rue when the woods, hills & forests of our present relatively safe, secure & peaceful land & its ecology will be populated again by menacing & fearsome predators, wherein we (The remaining inhabitants) then possibly to predict a time henceforth, when, perhaps in the wake of future wars or other since befallen large, catastrophic misfortunes, will have thus, somehow then likely reduced, cowered & fallen people into a wretched & impoverished state, similar to situations, into which our ancient ancestors once were accustomed; & where people will once again be fearful to tread or venture into the woods, heaths & moors, & made to feel intimidated, oppressed & hence easily controlled & subjugated, so that we (The survivors) all or the vast majority of them, will be then inhabiting in effect, a large, open prison, similar to the world in which our medieval serf ancestors once existed & from which they had eked & scratched their meager & wretched livings, inside their rural hovels in remote & desperately poor villages & hamlets, whereby, they had to labour ceaselessly for a bare subsistence life, & then were made to grovel to their overlords & masters, then ruling over them in their well-provisioned castles & manor houses, backed up by legions of armed retainers & loyal henchmen to maintain & enforce their grip & power over the vast majority of landless & penniless peasants & upon whose wealth & power would have been exploited & provided for them, by the hands & on the very backs of these same, bonded serfs’ endless toils??!! Does such a “Brave New World” perhaps indeed beckon for us all in the future, especially, if we are not heedful, mindful & careful enough to avoid it & its dark, sinister & menacing implications for humanity in Britain & elsewhere in the Western World??!!

      cheers for the comments , unfortunately there are many questions here that we are unable to answer as to what we can is ; There is no news blackout on the subject it has however been reported on extensively for many years but mainly in local papers and in the areas where sightings have been , maybe stopping it becoming "general knowledge".Allas the average reader has become accustomed to an array of blurry pictures in the main of domestic tom cats , consequently they mock and dis-believe that any reports are true, on top of that you get the occasional educated fool who believes that because there aren't dead sheep everywhere then there can't possibly be any leopards roaming the countryside. Thank God there's more to this world for nature than just Africa for reference. as for "them" who plan and plot our slow and steady demise into an ever growing pile of shite , i think personally they're so busy right now poisoning everything from the soil to the rain that runs over it , plastics,pesticides ,herbicides, that in fact it may not be too long before we are cowering again . they plan to rid the world of nature for profit releasing loads of mammals back into a countryside that they want to turn into concrete don't make sense.,, atb.

If the idea is to prove and protect enabling these amazing creatures to carry on living as they do in our countryside , then proving it is vital . if we wait another ten years to start to identify them it may well be to late , atb :)

Wait until a child or young person or other vulnerable adult is attacked or worse (Though God Forbid It!!) & then what will be the reaction of people & the authorities then??!! In my opinion, it’s just a matter of time before something horrible or untoward happens in these matters!! If it does, they probably won’t be able to then keep things (These UK 🇬🇧 crypto fauna stories) so tight under wraps or be able to ‘palm the public off’ with tall tales of ‘overgrown black pussy cats & the like’ then, after such an incident has tragically occurred!!

    I take it that this is the uk . And if so . The climate isn't right for mountain loins . It gets too cold in the winter .. Live stocks would be hit hard too .

      Really? What's your expertise on this subject, pls? Yes, it's the UK.

      Too cold?. Mountain Lions thrive in the British climate, just as they do in the Andes and Rocky mountains.

    • @marionsadventuresincameraland.
      @marionsadventuresincameraland. Před 8 měsíci

      thankyou @edward absolutey with the rockies reaching minus 50 degrees the uk is possitively a summer camp for the mountain lion, @peterriordan2040 we have plenty of wild life in the uk to support many of the apex predators out there and our climate is temperate which couldn't be any better . we are not claiming however that this is a mountain lion ,,, we are asking could there be a cat in the tree at the top, several of the " blob " images people refer to on some of our other images are from this location . which is the same location as our vid. big cat caught on camera, field signs found , woodchester which all show a predominantly black animal . which would imply a melanistic leopard ,where 2012 DNA came back from swabs on a deer carcass as panthera pardus.

    A Raven call at 0.08?

    • @marionsadventuresincameraland.
      @marionsadventuresincameraland. Před 8 měsíci

      cheers for your comment , we also thought of ravens but figured if one called at night then so would others making more of a noise , the short grunting sounds are also very similar to the short grunts male leopards put out when passing near to another i.e when their territories cross , to avoid conflict . it also seemed odd that the fox stopped and looked in the direction it came from just before the sound happened. we are not saying it is but it could be , especially as this camera is in one of two locations with lots of activity.
