What bait did you use im ice fishing right now at gull lake
I used a jig and a frozen minnow. This one I believe we used a rattle spoon. Good luck!
Sweet video brother. Always nice stumbling upon other albertan channels
Thanks! Just starting out so hope to fine tune things as I go! Keep up the great videos yourself!

excellent vid. is your f150 the short 5.5ft bed? i want to make sure the eskape 2600 fits mine before i pull the trigger on the 2600. also do the seats fit under your tonneau cover without taking them off?
Mine is the 6.5ft bed. It fits in with about a foot of room left. The seats do fit under the tonneau cover with them left on, when the fabric is warm. I’ve found after a day of fishing, it’s tougher to get the fabric to lay tight as there is ice and snow on it. So it’s not as compressed. But I’m sure doable. I just run a strap over the sled in my truck bed and good to go.
It’s a great tent. I have a hub and I barely use it anymore. Love it. Get the 2800 sled cover for it though. Not as hard to put it on after using the tent.
@@albertaoutdoors the specs say the sled length is 64 inches and my truck bed is 67 inches (5.5ft) so that leaves me with 3 inches of wiggle room. does the tent fabric get tucked in back into the sled to keep it all less than 67 inches?
@@pdsfpv1495 Yes if you fold it nicely you can get it all tucked into the sled for the most part. When I’m out for the day I don’t fold it nicely until I am finished.
@@albertaoutdoorsThank your for your responses! I have more confidence now to get the 2600! 😊👍👍👍
Only if u caught that In the ice fishing derby
No kidding! That would be great! May have won it
@@albertaoutdoors yea probably 25 cm that's just crazy man
How does it compare to other cameras? How long was the shipping time?
Shipping was about a week and a half. I would hold off for now. It has some issues and I’m working with Eyoyo trying to figure it out. They are great to deal with. The original Eyoyo 7” is much clearer. This new camera focus is not set right. Will post videos soon.
That’s to bad. Looks like a great set up.
Any update?
@@nathanpaw Eyoyo is working on fixing the camera as it is too blurry. Will have an update once I receive a new camera. Hopefully before the end of ice fishing season
When was this ?

Awsome unboxing!! I got mine when it was a prototype and had some issues with the lenses, but they upgraded. It seems like it! I love how simpler it is to connect now!!
It looks great!! Footage coming soon!
@@albertaoutdoors I'm happy now is mp4 format
@RaulGarciaFishingandOutdoors Yes that is very nice. Much more usable now
Lake erie perch dwarf that
That would be awesome! Large for here I guess.
@@albertaoutdoors i fished the lake near cranbrook bc and there are lots but small.....they dont eat them there......no idea what theyre missing
Just for people watching those are the older keeper bibs (pre-2021 design) still sold but worth noting as there’s a different version. Thanks for the comparison. Also, what size did you purchase?
Yes good point. These are the XL version of both.
@@albertaoutdoors Thanks for getting back. I’m trying to decide on a set while they are cutting prices for early warm temps.
Did you have to fight it long? Lmao Looks like a lake close to me i edmonton catch that size all day. Great for kids
Haha yes, easy reeling for sure!
Shappel seems to sell the wear bars in 3-packs regardless of the number of wear bars on sleds. It works out okay ish if your sled has an odd number of ribs, because you can do the two outside ones, and the one in the center. If your sled has an even number of ribs (my Shappel sled has 4), you need to buy two packs. Which is super annoying. 🤬
Yes it seems that way. I just did an Eskimo eskape 2600 flip over with these and had to buy 2 packs with 1 left over.
Monster! Watch your arms and legs around that one!
Haha yes it was large! Definitely a rod bender....
Great video! I see there are a couple of different ice fishing transducers to choose from. How do you like the dual beam one?
I have no issues with it. Have caught a lot of fish so far this ice fishing season with it. Glad you enjoyed the video!
Pisslake yumyum
We’re are u fishing
Central Alberta. Picked a lake and it paid off!
