@All-ScaleSlotCars incorrect! A single mass-market retailer, Hobby Lobby, no longer carries them due to "choking hazard". Auto World absolutely still produces and sells the Pit Kits direct through their webstore, as well as through adult hobby retailers.

@PlaysWithCars That's really interesting, as Bryan Young from ProTinkerToys has mentioned he was also told directly by Auto World to no longer sell them online as is. I understand it is still being sold at adult hobbiest sites, but if Auto World is so concerned about this issue, what would they imagine would prevent a parent or older sibling from buying one directly from their site (and others) to then expose them to a younger child anyway? I apologize for not fully researching the scope of this. I also do find it irresponsible for Auto World to only partially remedy what they have deemed to be a potentially hazardous situation, and from what you are saying, they are continuing to produce them. EDIT: I have just written Auto World (Round2Corp) directly to ask for clarification. This is their response: "Yes, we have put a stop sale on pit kits for the time being. This is due to use correcting some consistent standard issues that were found. They will be released again in estimated late fall. Now, stop sale does NOT mean recall and even though we have asked for our deluxe pit kits to be pulled from the shelf, we can not stop everyone. We currently do not have any pit kits available currently on autoworldstore.com"

@Steavon-jn6wj wow, really?!? I had a couple of bad chassis and they sent new ones no questions asked. That was about 3 years ago though, I haven't used them recently. What went wrong?

@PlaysWithCars bought 2 4 lane tracks almost $1000 there 2 best 1 came brokenhearted trying to reach them took 2 weeks for them to return my calls then had to Waite another 3 weeks for a replacement part just plain unexceptable was quick to take my money but when it came to making it right we'll a whole another story not even talking about the 30 cars I also bought should have been thankful for my business
