I watched a CZcams video stating that having an internet connection is necessary for Powerwall firmware updates. Without the Powerwall connected to the internet with no firmware updates, the warranty will only be 4-years.

Yes, this is a perfect use case! Powerwalls will take over if/when grid power drops. If you don't have solar, you can charge them using grid power. (no solar needed)

@@tragedy1496 Don't listen to him lol. 4" is the minimum clearance which this one looks to have. 250.122 says #10 is good up to 60A which would be the breaker size for the Powerwall3. As far as the comm wire goes, technically it should be 600V rated wire. Some inspectors look for it here in FL but not many. I run it in the conduit as well sometimes. Job looks clean. Way better than 90% of the trash I see around here. Nice job.

Yes - Tesla actually recommends installing Powerwalls indoors in colder climates. It is recommended to install Powerwalls in finished, non-living spaces like a basement, garage, or mechanical room.

This is a moving target. There are a TON of variables that can change this answer - house complexity, height, site conditions, materials just to name a few.. With that in mind, let’s say you have a 5 person crew and a pretty "normal" house. It could take anywhere from 3-7 days, so rough estimate 150-350 hours.

Some counties in Maryland require us to conduct glare studies before permitting a Solar Roof installation. In every instance, we have passed with no issues. Solar Roof will not cause any harmful glare for golfers or neighbors. Drone shots taken on a sunny day, from above the roof, can be slightly misleading.
