Info note. You must have the trim piece on the visor for the metal spring tabs to stay put when you install the new visor. The trim piece tabs hold the spring tabs in their hole in the visor mount. If you try to install the visor and then the trim piece the visor will not stay attached to the roof.

I installed this on 2011 Toyota Camry Hybrid. I didn't connect a backup power before taking out the old battery. I had no problems after. I just had to reset the clock.
Besides preserving the clock, backup power preserves the radio station settings as well. If you don't care about it, which now a days many people don't, resetting the clock is the only thing you need to do without backup power.

Sorry I don't know. I traded the car for a Tesla 2 years later. I only can say it worked well for at least 2 harsh New England winters without a hiccup.

Thanks for your feedback. No. Sorry I don't know exact spec of 19 RAV hybrid. I assume it is also a AGM battery. I believe the capacity is similar but you need to measure the exact size. For my 2014 Lexus, the thermal sensor is built inside the terminal connector instead of glued onto the battery. This makes installation a lot easier. You don't worry about the thermal sensor at all.
I started with that same plane about 20 years ago. Still have it along with a few dozen more. It gets flown once in a great while. I bet that os 55 has a 55 gallon drum of fuel through it.

Nice observation! I had not realized that. Yes! All 3 hybrid cars I have ever owned have the 12v batteries in the trunk instead of under the hood.

I'm stunned... Same problem here; thought I'd fried the motherboard or something. This worked after about three 30-second sessions with a heat gun. So, now I have a dilemma...I'd been without the camera for 10 months, and just took delivery on a replacement camera today. (Now I have _TWO_ working cameras.) Going on vacation in a few weeks (which is where I was when the old one froze). The old camera is seven years old and in good shape, but it's taken a ton of pictures for me. It actually had an episode of freezing a couple of years ago, then it cleared up by itself, only to permanently (I thought) lock up again last year. I am thrilled that it's working, but uneasy - I don't want to be caught somewhere with a camera that may lock up again unexpectedly. Don't know how long this fix will last/how frequently it will need to be repeated, and if the camera will be prone to it now. Trying to decide if it's just time to retire it with honors and move on... Thanks so much for passing this along!
