My grandad kept his mother's Crocosmia Aurea plant and he is giving me bulbs to plant in my garden. I think it's a very special flower (shooting stars) I'm fascinated that there is a lucifer version of this too lol thank you for your advice

My wive raised and gave away purple shamrocks for 20 years before she died. She used to say that they thrive on neglect. In honor of her I have continued the tradition. I now have varigated purple, purple, green, varigated green, maroon, amd iron cross. They do best in a shaded place(under my autumn olives) for summer. I give them a little Miracle Grow fertilizer every six weeks and they grow like crazy. I gave away over 250 last summer. Mine grow year round in my living room. Good vodeo. Good Luck, Rick

30% of my Farmer Gracy bulbs did not germinate the first year, 70% for this year, and this does not come from my soil because I have bulbs that have been in the ground for 20 years and are still flowering... I do not recommend farmer gracey....it's disposable

I have lost most of my valued large begonia corms to the dreaded vine weevil. Is there anything I can do before storing them to make sure there are none in the corm. I did try a white vinegar solution on a few last year, but they rotted. I would be very grateful for any suggestions.

Hi there, I received mine a few days ago and didn't realise I needed to soak them first - I potted them and gave them a good water (and have kept the soil moist). Should I take them out and soak them and re-pot them, then leave them alone? Or just continue to keep the soil moist now? Thanks!

I made a mistake and planted about 5 bulbs in a 2 litre container spacing them as you would if you were planting tulips,..should I remove the bulbs and give each bulb its own pot?

So they can be planted in a very shallow pot, maybe a tray ?
