Our boys attend a monthly group therapy session at the amazing Vanderbilt Bill Wilkerson Center. In this clip our friend the bear was playing in a puddle and got very wet... “Oh no!” Commenting is an important part of conversation and this was a fun way to practice.

Philip, Caroline and “I” are using the Core First Learning book, I Have Feelings to practice the core word “I”. “I” am so happy to have these goofballs in my life. 😊

Bennett (10 yrs.) volunteered as assisted reading partner for the Core First Learning book, Hats. The main character in the book is a boy named Dan. Bennett smartly substituted Philip's name for Dan's through the whole book. It seemed to really grab Philip's attention. Great idea big brother!

We are working on core vocabulary with Philip by using the Pathways app along with his Indi AAC device. The app includes books, lesson plans and suggested activities for each word. This week we are learning the word "go". In this clip I'm modeling the use of his device by finding and saying the word "go". I've also enlisted the help of big brother Russell (6 yrs.) by giving him the job of book ...
