Thank you 😋 I had my reservations for the badger and when we did settle on this version, part of me did not feel completely satisfied, but seeing it inside the hall among the rest of the gargoyles really made me feel like we did a good job. P.S. Actually it is the 1x1 pyramid that is the problem - probably used even more and at least twice as expensive. I had a bag of over 2500 and now I am probably down to 1/4 of that or something along those lines.

The benches and tables look so good with the studs covered! really liking the animal gargoyles too! I'm looking forward to your next video update 🙂

Hi, welcome to the channel! The algorithm doesn't like me very much, haha! Glad you like it, this project has been going for nearly 3 years now and has gone through several rebuilds - everything has been documented in the past 70 or so videos.

I get what you are saying. This is a compromise since I wanted the cell door to not be replaced with something else, and in order to fit - it had to be on the end of the baseplate. If it were in the middle with the other bars - it would be too tall. The idea is that there is another guard room on the other side of that cell door as well.

Actually, upon consideration, it would make sense if there were also a second door on the opposite wall as well. Will look into it when I have the chance, though I reckon there will be the same issue with the height. Might just leave an arch opening instead.

@@Uniqueorn yep, it could be something instead of wall, a frame of a door, a corridor, you will figure it out. It's just what I saw when I watched the video. ;)

Hi, thanks for the comment! You can see both the courtyard and the teacher's table in the previous episodes. The courtyard is still in the previous version of the castle - with the old dimensions and texture. I will be re-working it in the upcoming weeks. I believe you can see the teacher's tables in detail a couple of episodes ago where I tiled over the whole area. The scene with the teachers' table is not from a specific scene, just placed the minifigures I liked and that seemed to fit. But logically - it would be from the "Prisoner" year (even though I have the original Dumbledore on, he is just my favorite).

Indeed. Once Dumbledore's Office is implemented I will be sure to remove the hat from the Great Hall. In the meantime, what suggestions would you have for something to be placed next to the Cup? :)

Yes, the design is somewhat simplistic. Ideally I would like them to be 1 stud longer. It is on my to-do list to improve the design somewhat as far as complexity is concerned, maybe add a bit of a second color.

Hi! Thanks for the comment. I am not sure which tower you are talking about, can you please clarify? 1x1 Cheese sloped do exist in tan and dark tan.

@@Uniqueorn Filch's office tower has a kind of blocky exterior shape which is to be expected as you explained if you want to have a good interior. I was suggesting that maybe you could use 1x1 cheese slopes on top of the 1x4 plates on the facade that would follow the curvature of the turret to soften the harsh angles ... I hope it's clearer !

Ah, I see! The overall texture will be like the wall of the Great Hall. It is built with snot bricks, then one layer of plate, and on top of the plate - combination of 1x1 plate in tan and dark tan, 1x1 tiles in tan and 1x1 quarter tiles in tan with some 1x1 pyramid shapes. The same design will be used in the Filch Building in order to blend with the rest of the castle. I thought I mentioned that in the video, maybe I missed saying it, haha!

When you move the camera, it’s blurry until you stop. Odd, because, I don’t recall this from your earlier videos.

That is even stranger, as I have used the same camera, same settings, same rendering preset for years now. Can you tell me where this blurriness occurs in the video or hit me up on my Discord to discuss it in detail? Appreciate the feedback.

It’s basically when you move the camera, pan it across the build. It is blurry until you hold still. I don’t get it either since it doesn’t happen on anything else I watch. I just went back and watched a video from a year ago. It is there. I think it just more noticeable if you are close to the build and pan quickly. I mean, if no one else notices, just stay as you are.

Appreciate the feedback in any case. I think I will try to increase the FPS in the future, that might remove it for you.
