"OOOOH MR. DOOOOWNES!!"
I remember it took me a while to figure out how to get on the ship.
me too. I wasted time swimming around because I didn't remember how I got on this ship the 1st time
This is interesting. In my playthrough, Margarita has a cellmate. In yours, she is alone. I remember this quest.
I remember another sorceress cellmate my 1st playthrough too. I wonder what happened to her
Have you learnt how to smash a shield? I think I only did it twice, by accident, using heavy attacks.
I didn't know that's possible! I've had to use axii to get behind the shield because I usually use fast attacks. thanks!
This potion can only be used once during the mission. A feather. It's a very strong potion.
So glad I finally got this for Switch!
the iconic Marston pose vid is getting the most daily views right now. I think you're the 1 who reminded me about that scene I noticed other channels cut out too much context. I happened to like what happens after the pose, which someone pointed out is also iconic
@@mtview Whoa that may be one reason why yours got more views, I am indeed who reminded you the very first time I played that mission. Super flattering!
There always were and will always be Iagos after Micah Bell…
Micah is such an Iago
Ign says this is hard to miss but its litteraly the last thing I'm getting on zeffo. I got back to the mantis and realized I should check for seeds
how do i get to that spot im trying to get 100% completion like a true Jedi im playing the level and i have no clue how to get there!
someone may have a longer Plan to Save Han vid on getting to the minikits. I most likely roamed around until a minikit icon on the map was close enough to help me. then, I needed a character with more than a lightsaber for this particular kit
@@mtview ok thank you not a lot of people have a vid on how to get here to this spot but thank you so much! i appreciate you for helping me
bruh
Coolest parents ever 😂
Man this scene is so heartwarming. Its like we grew up with drake
“Ma calendar?!”
I wish your channel great success❤
“Kids today. So desensitized by movies and television.”
Yes, I remember this in my first playthrough. Things went a bit differently in my second playthrough. 😐
no one extra helped at the battle of KM my 1st playthrough. not even sure what happened to Keira. this time, almost everyone extra was there since I finished every contract and more side quests prior to Isle of Mists. even Folan was there!
@@mtview You can see in my 1st playthrough who helped at the battle of KM. I liked the way the game used the help. It is such a pity that I will never know how my 2nd playthrough would have played out. I had no clue who would have turned up at KM, so no idea how it would have gone.
I did use some dyes in my one and only playthrough. I cannot remember if I found this dye.
I couldn't buy it at the dye merchant for some reason. it's the only color I wanted 🥷
The ship isn't there nor can i trigger the stranger in strange land mission 😞
I had to restart the game to play this quest. it's open for such a small portion of the story. I probably missed the stranger in a strange land quest
This screen is doo doo
It isn’t there for me
was any gwent card there?
This is one of the reasons why Geralt decided to end Dettlaff. He already had to deal with another dangerous higher vampire, Hubert.
Level 66? Did you do this in New Game Plus?
I believe this was from new game plus
The Laramie died thinking John was just a farmhand, not knowing he once rode with the infamous Van Der Linde gang.
Thanks. This helped me out alot.
Oh yes, Land of Fables was great fun!
have you played the unseen elder option too? I played the unseen elder option and stopped at a certain point when it didn't offer the option I wanted. I won't spoil it in case you're not familiar with that alternate path. I recently learned how to play Ludo. it's neat seeing the Latin "ludum" in Beyond Hill & Dale
@@mtview I grew up playing Ludo! We used to play it a lot when I was a child. I only roughly remembered certain events that happened in the Land of Fables. I chose options that were consistent with other choices made in my first playthrough. I do not remember the 'unseen elder option'. So, cannot remember what path I chose. I remember there being a wolf, that kept chasing you and Syanna. The major boss battle in the sky at the end. Geralt can choose to have a 'relationship' with Syanna Geralt in my first playthrough was only interested in romancing Yennifer, so declined Syanna's advances. I would have to watch more videos to remember what happened in the Land of Fables. I would prefer to watch a full playthrough, however, I am content with watching your short independent videos. Watching a full playthrough helps to show how all the events are linked together based on previous choices.
@@kalliankgaming fun! in the past I played Sorry! It's similar to Ludo. I'm surprised to read that both games are from England. my Geralt doesn't like Syanna because of what she did to Dettlaff
@@mtview I never played Sorry. Looking at it online, it does look similar to Ludo. It does look like a good game to play. In my first playthrough, Geralt killed Dettlaff because he was a danger to people and he killed too many. he also became a danger to Regis. Geralt might have let him live but Dettlaff ignored Regis's pleas to stop. Geralt did not care what Syanna did to Detlaff, that was not an excuse for him to go killing people. Detlaff was a higher vampire and Geralt had to kill him As for Syanna. Geralt wanted to help her because she suffered from the 'Curse of the Black Sun'. He has met girls/women who had suffered and killed because they were born during an eclipse. Despite what she did, If I remember, the people that Syanna made Dettlaff kill. They had made her suffer. He also wanted to reconcile her relationship with her sister. I do not know what the Geralt in my second playthrough would have done He might have killed them both or let them both live. He never met them, so do not know how he would have dealt with the situation.
@@kalliankgaming I sympathize with Dettlaff. he was highly altruistic to Regis and others. he thought he was being altruistic for Syanna. the puppets in the toy shop symbolize Dettlaff's plight. he cut off his own hand out of remorse over his puppet master's orders. Syanna showed zero remorse in my playthrough. she wanted Dettlaff to target her sister. she also scared someone into murdering an innocent in the past too. Regis mentions Dettlaff was fiercely loyal by nature, and he did not have an understanding of human manipulation. Syanna turned him into a monster. impressive how the game allows the player to decide if Dettlaff's monstrous behavior ends via Syanna or Dettlaff
Geralt did not ask Opinicus for its opinion! 😀
😄 maybe this could go on my Latin playlist for "opinionated"
Thanks
Just reading Dutch's speech notes at Horseshoe Overlook shows how demented he is.
Yeah, when this music played, i get slowed my horse.
It is funny to remember how the game was before HoS and B & W. Mainly HoS and the area dedicated to HoS in the game. I do not remember what videos in my first playthrough they are, but there are areas that I could not go in. This is because CDPR had not yet incorporated HoS into the game at that point. There are also videos after HoS was added that I had no idea I was in 'HoS territory'. I remember in my first playthrough wandering past Oxenfurt and travelling east and meeting extremely tough enemies, far tougher than any I encountered before. Not realising it was part of the HoS area. I did not want to spend an hour fighting a drowner, so I quickly left the area and never went back in my first playthrough.
You let them live! I did this quest in my 2nd playthrough and Geralt killed them! I remember you get this quest from the halfling herb merchant near Oxenfurt. I stopped uploading Witcher 3 videos after I did this quest. There was no way that Geralt in that playthrough would let them live. They were monsters disguised as humans. Unfortunately, I cannot remember how it went when I played it and how the dialogue changed, compared to your video. Just to let you know. Regarding your HoS videos. I will only watch the videos up to the point I did them in my second playthrough. I stopped playing the game so never finished HoS. I stopped playing the game so I no longer want to know what happens after a certain point. So I will never know if Geralt ever gets rid of that burn mark on his face in my playthrough.
this quest is amazing. this quest, A Knight's Tales & Where the Cat & Wolf Play are the only quests I've replayed more than 2x. I was in a rush the 1st time I played it so I went to the herbalist as instructed by the prompt. I remember thinking that was an oddly simple quest. ignorance was bliss now that I'm only playing about 1 quest or contract every few days I think about them more. I started looking around their place. the basement search only triggers if one walks in the opposite direction of the prompt. I then felt weird choosing this option after thinking about how they weren't scavengers, they were likely predators. reloaded and chose the don't believe option. also visited a few days later sounds like you didn't finish the HoS Olgierd/Iris quests. I think the expansion stories are better than the original main story
@@mtview I finished B & W and what I have played of HoS so far, they are great expansions. With wonderful stories. Especially seeing Regis and Shani. However, I would not say they are better or worse than the main story. It may be because of how I play games and how I role play. I do not look at the whole main story when playing the game.
1:02 This is so weird when you compare the same sword in your video and in my first playthrough!
I typed sword stats in the title before I realized they change depending on when they get looted
I had this same scene in my first playthrough. Have you watched the scene in my second playthrough when Geralt returns to Crow's Perch after the "Return to Crookback Bog" quest? For reference, it is in the same video as the Crow's Perch races. It would be interesting to read your thoughts if you have never seen it before.
I watched sections of your Return to Crookback Bog vids. I was looking to see what happens if someone chooses the "it doesn't make sense" (paraphrased from memory) option when the baron suggests taking his wife to a healer. so far, I haven't seen a player choose that option. I didn't see this scene on your vids yet. I'm not sure when you returned to Crow's Perch. for me, it didn't take place until I happened to need master crafted armor. it's nice how a fast travel location finally shows up near the armorer
@@mtview "It does not make sense" did not make sense to me in the context of what happened. That is probably why nobody chooses it. In my second playthrough, I return to Crow's Perch quite a few videos after what happened in Crookback Bog.
This was impossible to see on the switch, even when I found it I couldn't have without a video
I recently bought The Witcher 3 complete edition for PC, but every time I try to fast travel to Velen (Quest: the nilfaardian direction) )my game crashes. It's very frustrating because I can't get any further in the story. If you got any tips, I would be so thankfull.
hopefully someone who played this on PC will have tips for you on console, I found it confusing that the map that is not the world map has the title world map. I'm not sure what prompt or click opens the world map on PC
@@mtview I could fix it, I just had to put the mod Turbolightning out of my mods folder
This is so stupid. I went inside the room and left the valuable on the floor like 1000 times and just couldn't complete the mission. Now I know why,
...they don't deserve this...they really don't...
why?
M1899 is one of the few guns that looks best without engravings.
Some Heart of Stones quests were really hard when I did them early in the game! Especially when you use mods to make it even harder and you limit what abilities Geralt can use. As I said in another comment, I never finished HoS. I needed a lot of Quen, patience and dodging to defeat these enemies.
I had to lower difficulty on this quest because it's HoS
@@mtview Lowered the difficulty! 🤣You were level 97 the Red Flame enemies in this video were level 82! You completely annihilated them in this video. It did not look like you struggled. That made me laugh. It would have been interesting to see what abilities you had. You must have a lot of abilities at level 97.
@@kalliankgaming ☺😆 is 💯 the highest level? it's so weird because I could do lots of stuff on Death March when I wasn't using witcher armor. non-witcher armor has more Vitality, and it's so easy to loot. witcher armor takes a looong time to get and upgrade. I'm getting witcher armor for the drip. I'm still leveling up the Wolven armor. at the time of this quest I only had Enhanced Wolven armor, 2 tiers lower than some of my current gear. this quest has many guys who could take me out with 1 hit. I made it easy because I got tired of dying & load screens. it would have been pretty pathetic if I livestreamed my many fails on this quest in particular
@@mtview Yeah, I tried to find all the Woven Armour in both of my playthroughs and found it hard to find all the pieces! I was level 9/10 (Death March) when I started the "Rose on a Red Field" quest! I remember how long it took me to complete this quest! The fights were long. Fighting just one bandit took about 10 - 20 minutes. I am so glad I knew how to dodge or there would have been lots of reloading! I was also using basic plain witcher armour. I was also only allowing Geralt to upgrade the General and Combat trees. Nearly all the enemies had a 'red skull' Watching your video, it is good to compare how the fights are when you are at a high level. What I do remember when doing this quest at a low level was using Axii. I remember when fighting Mad Kiyan in my first playthrough and destroying him with just one move using Axii. Just using the basic Axii you can critically kill a human with one move even if they are at a higher level. Axii was extremely helpful in the Red Rose quest. I am never bothered if a player dies a 'million' times! I only get annoyed if a player keeps dying because they keep making the same mistake a 'million' times. That is frustrating to watch. This just tells me that the player does not understand the game and should not be playing it. I also do not like it when people cut out all their deaths in a full Let's Play and definitely in a Blind Playthrough. These players pretend they are good at a game when they are not. I would never intentionally or deliberately cut out any deaths in my Let's Play. Your Witcher videos are not part of a Let's Play so I have no problem with you cutting out your deaths. This video is not about demonstrating how good your fighting skills were. It is about the armour you get when you defeat these enemies... Talking about armour you get when doing this quest. I do remember when doing the Red Rose quest I could not use any of the weapons or armour because of the level requirement. The armour was level 33/35!
@@kalliankgaming I tend to default to Quen or Igni. Axii is pretty helpful. I'm trying to use it more often for tough fights. for my botchling fight I had to look at the bestiary mid fight because no other sign worked
h.k. ani, I really enjoyed this video, so I hit the like button!
This is the outcome I got in my first playthrough based on the choices made leading up to this event. What choices did you make in your playthrough? I do remember that you can meet the children in Novigrad being taught by a teacher in a hut.
1st playthrough I destroyed the whispering hillock 2nd playthrough I planned to release it however, I got scared when Geralt didn't recognize its bones, there were bodies all around it & I couldn't let the innocent horse get possessed. so I tricked it and destroyed the hillock again
@@mtview I know in both of my playthroughs I did not follow the game's order of things. I need to watch my playthroughs to remember what exactly I did. In my 1st playthrough, I do remember that I went to the Hillock before going to Downwarren and meeting Anna and the children. This is one of many quests in which you can see how things and dialogues change depending on the order you do things. The music in this game is one of the best in any game I have played.
@@kalliankgaming I keep thinking about how much work must have went into this game. it's amazing

I remember this conversation in my playthrough(s). Odalan mentions that Tomira knew Claer.

"Woman do you hear me" I love that sentence to much, especially as he decides against using names
