This scene pisses me off Because Stryker was my favorite character in the franchise. How come Shang Tsung can use magic But Stryker don't got his weapons and his gears? Like, that's so damn unfair! My boy deserves better in the franchise. They treat him like Yamcha from Dragon Ball Z. Which I love Yamcha I respect him. I respect both him and Stryker. Thankfully he returned in MK1 But only as a cameo fighter. Let's hope he becomes playable in the future of that game. Btw, Good job on making this video! I can agree with you on that. I wish this happened in the movie itself. In the Snowblind movie, Shang Tsung got what he deserved for killing Stryker and blinding Kenshi. He got was killed by Kano.

For anyone confused why they've gone all medieval, this is a prequel set during Doomguy's time with the Night Sentinels, who are an alien race similar to humans. Their civilization is much more advanced than ours, but they essentially have nigh-magical medieval weaponry rather than modern human style weapons. Doomguy got teleported to their planet after the end of Doom 64, where he let them know that demons and Hell did exist and were invading the mortal realm. The Night Sentinels more or less helped him regain his sanity and trained him to be the badass we see in Doom 4 and Doom Eternal. So expect some big differences from the previous 2 rebooted games.

This game play looks really awesome. The dragon is an interesting touch. Not sure how I feel about it since I'm not too familiar with the lore, but it will definitely be cool to rip and tear with a dragon at my side. I think the medieval style weapons are super cool too, going to be really nasty to those unfortunate demons.
