Don't forget the side pocket. If you put something small enough, it could be a secret hiding spot.i always enjoy the simple ideas that look complicated. Have fun at the high tea. Years ago, I went to a tea put on by Victoria Magazine. There were a good number of women attending with tables for 6 people. My friend and I met some interesting ladies and got a signed book at the end. We had fun. I remember that there was a lady who was creating a sort of junk journal. I had no idea that I would be doing junk journals more than 20 years later. Yes, it was a long time ago! 😊

Clever! I like the idea of using a house to include family pictures. I'm not much of a picture taker. I never liked my picture taken when I was younger. I was very self conscience about my appearance. I had to have 2 jaw surgeries to correct a birth defect. I was able to get it done after I had a job with good insurance. After that, when I went some place with others, I was always behind the camera. Currently, I'm trying to find a picture of me with short hair for my brother. I don't know if one was taken.

Looks very nice. I like the way you created the pocket with a tuck. I love the stenciling. I don't ever think about stencils when I'm working on a project. Just having the kitchen table to work on, doesn't give me much room to have a lot of tools, supplies out.

You are adding a lot of interesting items to that journal. I love all the additions. I would like to be using them in a journal I was making but I have too many other projects to work on right now. I've decided to just take my time and work on things as I can. Stressing over what I have to do, takes away the fun in creating the journals, folios, etc. 😊

I love the shoes! Unfortunately, I can't wear dress shoes any more. It's not a problem since I'm retired 😊 and don't have a need to dress up any more. LOL I remember making the folio you put in the back. I haven't used it in a journal yet. With all the different types of ephemera I've made, I should do an eclectic journal.🦋

If you had not mentioned that you made a mistake with the corners, I would have never known. I would have thought that you did it deliberately so you could add the ribbon, which is beautiful. I like the sheet to plan a journal. I have several digital downloads that are, nature, herbs, etc. Some have several pages while others have as few as 4 pages. I want to make a couple of journals that have at least 3 signatures. I printed thumbnails of the pages of each kit so I can put together the ones that look the best with each other. In my decluttering/downsizing, I found several things that I had which can be used in journals. Making a list of the different items, will help me to determine what I want in a journal. If you havent already figured it out, I'm a planner. LOL 😅 BTW, we are our own worst self critics. I know.
