Frankly, (and *I know* this is going to turn a lot of heads when I say this, but I ‘need’ to be honest on the subject) Alexis is not only full of shit, she is also being such an entitled, pretentious brat 😠😤. I deduce the reason why she is doing what she (had) done by moving in and living with Pi, is based on petty *revenge* against her father and because she is fed up with her dad’s unpredictable nature especially, when it comes to his relationship(s) including: his engagement to Detective Kate Beckett. But, for Alexis to have the nerve and the arrogance to crudely shut her dad out and to pitifully spite him by not allow himself to be *honest* about the situation (as well as; everything else) is uncalled for. Her reason(s) in terms of: independence and self reliance is, some what; understandable. Regardless, it is no excuse for Alexis’ own brand of impulsive and brash behaviour in her character. If Alexis’ does want to take her chances for herself and her life, that’s fine. Nevertheless, she *should not* lack conviction, in her life and for her future.

This scene got ruined for me thanks to a commercial right after the phone call died. A commercial about phones, calling easier was the motto. It was funny, but now I just keep hearing that commercial.
