I was previously on VRC team 67101C up until Spin Up where I won innovate award at Worlds and triple crowned my state tournament. I still volunteer at VRC tournaments and am happy to help any teams.

do we have to remove the goal from our clamp at the end of autonomous to make it count?
If your clamp lifts the base off the ground I believe yes and also if your latch touches the rings, the rings you are touching don’t count so you might have to drop it for that reason
We know pyro will make a bot that shoots goals out of the game

Can you flip goals in the positive and negative corners with them still counting?
@@ender_horizon7951 Rule SC5b states the top of the mobile goal must be above the perimeter. So mogos need to be fairly upright.

Had the exact elim issue you were talking about at scrim. 2 non-scorong vs 1 non-scoring and a claw bot. First game claw bot got constantly rammed so it was a 3-3 tie no rings scored. Seconds match claw bot got 1 ring on a goal but other team got it into the negative corner. Organisers were short on time so went with higher seed. This was sexonds semi so I was watch match to study potential final competitors. Teammate and I could score well and we expected to be versing the one other scoring robot at the comp for the final but ended up against the 2 non-scores as they were higher seed. You are right about the difficulty for new teams and it sucks that there is no way to properly score with a push bots. Makes for a predictable scrim as the 2 good scoring robots won without much effort. Will probably be similar result at scrim this weekend.

i love jhawk, what rpm are ur hooks? Also did you run into any issues with the top ls shaft bending under the weight of the arm?
@@lettucejr9678 the hooks run at 200RPM. We didn’t have any issues with the shaft bending. The lift was quite light and it was mounted very close to where the shaft was supported.

@@ray-tang I’m sure we will. I infer they will fill a similar role to rings in TiP where they end up becoming very relevant later in the season.

Is this robot able to descore using the double sided hooks?
Technically yes. However, descoring is completely useless at this point in the season since wall stakes aren't even being filled, and it doesn't consistently prevent the rings from leaving the field.
What about descoring on the mobile goals?
@@huttoothnever tested it but I doubt it would be able to reach.
Why do teams do the wheel tracker thingy
it is used in odometry to help track the robots position on the field for autonomous. I will have a full video over how it works coming out soon.

@@hemavundela1188 I plan to have an explanation video for my most recent robot (in the collab reveal with INTRT). That will have a fair number of techniques. Don’t have a plan for a dedicated video like that though as of now.
