1980সাল থেকে আমরা পশ্চিম বঙ্গ বাসি এনারা মধ্যে দিয়ে কিশোর কুমার কে অনুভব করতাপ। 1984সালে ওনি কিশোর কুমারের সাথে দেখা করতে গিয়েছিলেন বোম্বে তে পরিচয় হবার পর কিশোর কুমার বললেন গৌতম একটা গান শোনাও গৌতমঘোষ শোনালেন কিশোর কুমার কে ওনারই গান। কিশোর কুমার শুনে বলেছিলেন গান তুমি ভালোই গাও আমার গান গাও ক্ষতি নেই কিন্তু আমার মতো করে নয় তুমি তোমার নিজের আওয়াজ এ তোমার মতো করে গাও আমাকে নকল করে নয়। তবেই তুমি শিল্পী কিশোর কুমারের এই কথাগুলি তিনি আজও আজও ফলো করে চলেছেন। এখন তো 72বছর বয়স হয়েগেলো আর কতো। প্লিজ ওনাকে অসম্মান করবেননা।
