Just wanted to point out for anyone considering buying this kit directly from Airfix. While the kit still provides the option for completing the kit as a photo recon version of the Curtis Tomahawk the current decals don’t include an option for that particular version. So you will have to find appropriate decals elsewhere .If you intend building that version.
C'est du MiniArt tout craché et ça a l'air super bien ! Pour les débutants ou simplement ceux qui n'ont pas envie de se prendre la tête, le kit de Hobby Boss est très sympa aussi.
I'm glad that Hobby 2000 are re-releasing some of these Hasegawa kits. I've thought for a long time that Hasegawa kits have been overpriced here in the UK but the Hobby 2000 versions seem to me to be much more rewasonably priced. Hasegawa's Maruader is probably the best 1/72 B-26 on the market. It's not THAT old in that it first came out in 2006. However, I have a soft spot for the much older (1972) Airfix B-26 which was very well detailed for its time but does feature raised panel lines as was normal back then.
I Completely agree
Cool model 🛩
I think so too!
Looks like a really nice kit. Thanks for the review!
Thanks for watching!
I have this Fengda 183K since a couple of Months, and I am very pleased with it. Have you tried out yours in practice yet?
Hi, yes it's not bad for the money, I mainly use the.5 needle for primer and base coats
J79 Afterburner section was undulated (inner surface), just the only thing i wanted to know.
Nice sink marks on the upper wing surface, around the gun bay covers, the one I just bought has far worse sink marks & Airfix will be hearing about it.
They sent me some replacement parts - WITH EVEN MORE SINK MARKS ON THEM !
Might want to do a proper test with the plastic primed and then see how the paint holds up to being masked over with masking tape
I started this kit last night. So far so good
Thanks for the review. I'll look this kit up.
Hello do you still have a photo reference book of this kit ? Thanks 🙏
Airfux has come along way in the right direction!🤣 Jman
Just finished the E7 version a couple of months ago and it was a great kit, really impressed with the engineering and fit. Plus you get Cartograf decals and masks all for a good price.
Good afternoon. The pilot who used that telescopic sight was Adolf Galland. All the best.
Thanks
Раритет...😊
Thanks for this refreshingly straightforward review. Good to see someone positive about Heller (even thought it isn't Heller). The new owners are making a real effort to improve the brand's image. The box states 79(?) parts but contains about 150, so all those 1/72 French weapons either for the spares box or else wasted. I am a fan of the old Heller kits, as they are generally accurate in outline and dimensions and straightforward to build. If you just want airframes for displaying all those amazing French schemes, they are perfect. Cheers!
Many Thanks for the feedback
Cool model kit.
I think so too!
He is so boaaaaaaaring zzzzzz
Thank you for the good review. How is your Fengda Fe-183k airbrush holding up ?
HI thanks , the Fengda is holding up well its not as refined as more expensive models but its well worth it for the money.
Excellent build dude!! 💯👍
Built that little Fokker on the windowsill of an old cottage on Achill Island in 1974. Incessant rain outside.
Have a great build.
I put together their 1/48; B-25D / Level 5 kit together recently. It was a struggle. Instructions were questionable in spots and a number pieces did not fit together well, Including the fuselage halves. I am not happy with the end results.
The trouble with Revell is , your not always sure what you are geting in the box, the B-25 is either the very old monogram kit or the still old but better Acurate minatures kit. i wish Revell would do something similar to Airfix and mark them as vintage kits with a orginal tool date. Its very unfair particullay to new modelers, it looks new and shinny but they could be getting dog of a kit inside! thanks for watching
I just received this kit in the mail today. Looking forward to building it.
Is this better than the Fujimi or Esci kits ?
Sorry never seen the escort or Fujimi kits so can’t say
Sorry auto correct esci
I've been pretty pleased with them. I have been using Italeri and Vallejo thinners with them, both of which I add five percent flow improver too.
I've got some Vallejo thinners , usefully to know thanks
Good look at the paints nice job there, been thinking of trying some of there sets for future models.I got hold of a bottle of AK AFV paint recently and I am impressed with them for brush painting but I only have two shades so cant comment on the whole line up
Thanks, I've heard good things about the 3rd gen AK paints
I was disappointed to see that the nose gear was molded as one piece, it is going to take some careful cutting to remove it. Also, the kit provides the 300 gal drops but not the 400 gallon drop that was often carried on the centerline.
I have to say that on the odd occasion I’ve had to contact Airfix over this sort of thing, they’ve always been spot on. It’ll be a while before I can afford one of these. I’ve built a few of the original 1/24 Spitfire and it was a serious, time consuming pain in the duff trying to build in some dihedral which was totally lacking if not slightly anhedral and made the most graceful shape ever to fly look like a knackered seagull! It looks like they’ve sorted this quite nicely now...... Nice work!
Many Thanks, I built the old Mk1 kit many years ago this kit is a huge improvement
👍 nice video (but dark)…..
Thanks , i need to get some better lighting :)
Weird, .. you are using the 3D printed Tamiya Glue Holders I designed and shared online :D It's like you need my 4x4 design :D
Wow.. the company who are manufacturing the kit, pride themselves on QC.. But sometimes these things do happen.. In my latest video i bought a bundle and one of the kits was missing, it was sent and arrived 23 hours after sending the email.. Top work from the Customer service team

Ah another 1/24 spitfire kit review.
I made the original Airfix 1/24 Spitty in (bloody hell...) 1970, or thereabouts, and the main issue was in the lack of dihedral in the wings, which completely ruined the appearance of the finished model. So I'm pleased to see a preformed main spar with correct dihedral, which will - hopefully - sort the problem!
fingers crossed will find out soon as the build is now underway
@@TKscalemodels Let’s hope!
Hi. The blown canopies are arranged by Airfix to provide builders with two options. There's one without a seam, that is the maximum size that can be moulded without a resulting seam and the other is the accurate one that goes beyond that point and so has a mild seam that you'll need to sand and polish out. I used this one on my test shot build in Airfix Model World. It's easy to remove but for folks who'd prefer not to tackle it Airfix have the 'no-seam' option. Looking forward to your build and others that'll start shortly on other You Tube channels. Wish you well with it!
Thanks useful to know
Was I the only one shouting "they're over there, behind the box!" :) Just me, then... ;)
The B-2 was the standard model (1940-1942)Ju-87B, (There was also the B-1 which was the 1938-1940 type). the R-2 had extended range by the addition of the wing drop tanks, which meant only 1 bomb could be carried and not the small underwing weapons.

I do have the kinetic kit but I have not opened it up yet I see your kit come with a AGM-88 HARM missile I hope mine has it as well but I just bought two off eBay and I also did the Aires cockpit set
Have you started this yet? Been working on their mig-23 and the seams are killing me!
No not yet keep get distracted by other kits :)
Awesome... we operated Skyhawks with our RNZAF.. thanks from NZ 👍🇳🇿✈️
Glad you enjoyed it!
Tony please do a build of this kit, breaking down each episode from cockpit to undercarriage etc.
This is the first Airfix kit I've bought in 40 years it cost me €30 here in Vigo Spain did not think I would be buying anything from the UK after brexit but I could not resist it in the shop this morning, the manager said it takes triple the time to get stuff from the UK nowadays. Have an uptick!
I wish CyberHobby would release IL-4 bomber in 32nd scale.
thanks for the review, thinking of getting this one soon
1/32 Dragon Messerschmitt 109E is the best kit of this particular aircraft on the market. Great that it’s been rereleased.
The Dragon kit and it is the nicest 1/32 Bf109 out. Is the rein wheel well inserts ok? The Dragon kits I have they became fragile and brittle on broke up.
seem to be ok but i guess time will tell
