I bought a few George Carlin albums but I thought I had missed this one. But I remember all of these. I think "Occupation Foole" was one of the best.

I appreciate his audiobook being freely available. It seems like what he'd want? My god i think he'd be slightly offended by audible selling his thoughts?

To be a 12 year old kid in ‘73 walking home with an unwrapped CLASS CLOWN album…. You had to be there to understand the context of the times and the severity of profanity laws, which resulted in Carlin’s arrest. The album is dedicated to Lenny Bruce. Who Carlin was arrested and taken to jail with in ‘62 …in the same paddywagon.

It’s amazing how many evolutions Carlin had over his five decades in comedy. Starting here and then going all the way up to It’s Bad For Ya….just insane.

I don't disagree with Carlin often, but tits always look better in a pair of scrubs.

damn he was really cookn on that last part about the parents escaping responsibility if their kids turn out crappy . i wish i could hear the rest of that . because i wholeheartedly agree . it’s even getting worse with parents nowadays . why ? because they started having children at 14-19 and had crappy parents raising them in the first place . so they’re all in their late 20’s early 30’s and already have between 3-5 children , none of which have the discipline or morals they should have because their parents were raised without any . it’s such a vicious cycle and with social media and in-denial parents who want to be friends with their kids instead of parents or parents who are still kids themselves , it will only get worse . and people wonder why i waited until i was older (late 20’s) to even halfway consider being a mom . tell me what kind of brain a 15 year old has to raise a whole tiny human ? when they themselves aren’t even fully developed ??? thank you George Carlin . one of the only people to really make sense of the whole thing
