Its their car, they can do with it as they please.. Go find another car.. This one might be their dead son's car, or a father who passed, etc etc.. I asked a farmer I worked for about a 67 chevelle ss, he had in his shop covered up, and if ye would sell it to me and take it out of my wages.. The car was his son's, who got drafted to vietnam, and never came home.. I never asked him again.. 10 years later, he was sick and dying, his wife called me and told me he wanted to talk to me.. So i went to the hospital, and he gave me the title, and all he asked in return, was for me to look after his wife, help her clean up their place to sell it.. Patience is key.. You have put your interest in their mind, when they are ready, they will let you know.. ✌♥️🇺🇸

I can relate to that. My dad was killed in car accident in 1987. I was 11 and I was the oldest of his 5 kids. He had a 1972 4x4 full size chevy truck he loved that broke down a sat in yard for year before accident. 1-2 times week someone would stop to try buying it. It's still sitting cause we have plans to restore it but we wouldn't ever sell it and been offered more than double what it's worth.

I'll tell you why I didn't want to sell it it's because It belong to a family member whose Passed on to the other side
