wunderbar inspirierend für Biografiearbeit im Kunstunterricht, Danke!
Ich habe gerade erst (durch lesen einiger Artikel) über den Abriß erfahren, der da vor ein paar Jahren passiert ist. Klar, ein Park ist ne gute Sache, aber zu welchem Preis? Dass dort zahlreiche Gründerzeit-Gebäude, und die verbundene Industriekultur/Arbeiterviertel dem Erdboden gleich gemacht wurden, finde ich einfach nur krass (und falsch)! Hier in Hamburg sind diese Gebäude mehrere Millionen wert, und dort werden sie verfallen gelassen und platt gemacht? Irre! Natürlich kann man viele Argumente für oder gegen irgendwas bringen, es gibt immer mehrere Perspektiven.. aus meiner Sicht (ich bin kein Duisburger!) ist es so: die Industriekultur im Ruhrgebiet sollte samt seinen Arbeitersiedlungen erhalten bleiben, NUR die Fabriken und Schlote sind doch langweilig und sagen nichts aus, wenn man nicht weiß wie die Menschen gelebt haben, samt Kneipenkultur etc. Klar, Thyssen-Krupp ist heute (noch!) aktiv und der Schutz der dort lebenden Menschen ist auch nicht unwichtig, aber: Warum müssen Menschen der Industrie weichen? Und warum wird nicht mal in die Zukunft geblickt? Dass sich das Stahlwerk dort auf lange Sicht nicht halten kann ist abzusehen, in X Jahren machen die dort auch die Schlote aus, und dann wird die Stadt merken dass sie ein historisches Viertel platt gemacht hat, für ein paar Jahre weiteren Betrieb. Weitsicht und Erhaltung von Kulturgut ist was anderes. Viele Grüße aus einem ehemaligen Hamburger Arbeiterviertel (Reiherstiegviertel auf der Wilhelmsburger Elbinsel)

Sehr geil geworden! Und wie es scheint, hast du Kopien eingeklebt und nicht die Original, wie ich es tat, als ich 2011 mitmachte und ich bereue immer noch, daß ich ein Buch mit Original-Collagen wegegeben habe, zumal mein Computer Probleme machte und alle Scans wegwaren. Richtig klasse geworden, dein Buch, sollte man genau so in Druck geben! Liebe Grüße barbara bee Hatte übrigens Probleme auf deinem blog zu kommentieren, irgendwie ging das nicht.
