Don’t tell!!! I have my favorite lake. 60+ Northern and Walleye per 3 hour day. (Yes, that’s a monster fish every three minutes). Isolated and deep in the woods like I love. Highly recommend a real rugged fishing lover give Pasha Lake Cabins a go. Been hitting that lake yearly since 2020! And, there’s a lot like it!
Love to see the trolling. Going to hit Onaman for sure this year while at Pasha Lake Cabins. Have had tremendous success at every lake every year over the last two years. Bomber Long A Chartreuse is a winner.
What net is that. Looking for one just like it
I honestly do not remember. We lost that net a day or two later. I remember paying about $100 for it. Loved the fact that it was all rubber and the hooks did not get tangled up in it.
@@jimbarbnelson2003 thanks. Keep up the great videos
Thanks for posting I guess makes me appreciate my hard sided kayak more now
Too funny!
I can't belive sea eagle provides such garbage seats at the price they sell that model for. It should be standard to include their higher end seats with all of the bundles.
Hey Jim great video. How's the fishing in the first week of september ?
Fishing is good all season long on Onaman. If there is a slow period I would probably say it is in July. As for September you cannot go wrong!
@@jimbarbnelson2003 thanks Jim
Some parts made me a little dizzy when I sped it up.
That is a must do hike if you are ever in the area!
New subscriber.
Great video! Thanks for posting!
If your not going to keep them I would not bother with the net
Feels like a little one he says ha
I'll be there this coming June 2020. Luv it there, the best fishing period.
Smart farming
I love my case iH tractor
Most powerful tractor in the world
Looks like you had a terrific and beautiful day for a balloon ride😎
If only you could fish in their
Good video. Just subscribed to your channel
That was so cool. Good job on filming
Have you tried Oneil Lake near Onaman off the Kinghorn Road? Any luck?
We fished it once but did not have a lot of luck.....
Does the drop stitch floor provide a higher/more comfortable seating position? I have a inflatable kayak with 'oldschool' bottom... due to sinking in at the seating position, I always have to lift the paddle quite high and paddle in a bit of an weird (far to the side) angle in order to not touch the pontoons. That puts a lot of strain on my shoulder (old rotator cuff injury) and I can't paddle for long distances without shoulder pain. I'm wondering if the Fasttrek with drop stitch floor might help with that issue. What do you think? Is the Fasttrek easier on the shoulders (and maybe back) compared to a 'conventional' inflatable kayak?
I have never experienced what you are describing so I would have to say that this kayak does have a harder floor creating more clearance for paddling. Good luck!
Congratulations, beautiful *video.* Have a very successful week! Hugs and good fishing.👍🎣🐋🐠🐟🐬
Where is area?
Nope!
Are you trolling with those jigs or just drifting?
Back trolling very slow, moving the boat 2-3 feet at a time so the jig is directly under the boat most of the time.
beautiful, how did you get such great pictures
All the underwater pictures were with a GoPro
Jim Barb Nelson awesome, I got a go pro 5 will try
pretty sick underwater footage of the seals
Great footage of the seal! Fun!
Terrific action, brother! But why you no keep fish, mang?
Barb handles that net like a boss!
Onaman has the best walleye fishing in Ontario for sure.
Awesome fishing!! What type of line is that. I see not using a leader. We are coming up there in June. Can't wait.
OOF I would never eat anything out of the harbor... think of all the sewage and oil/gas/diesel/chemicals pumped out of the boat into there
So fun to see you exploring Lake Powell--it's such a beautiful place! Is that kayak just as easy to deflate and pack up again?
Kaiva good to hear from you! It is pretty easy to pack up, It takes a little longer as you need to wipe down each of the sections before you fold it up and put it away.
Great improvement from this winter!
420 or 380?

Jim Barb Nelson thx
Thank you for posting the video as I enjoy your forays into Onaman. Onaman Lake is a walleye factory and the fish are bigger and fatter than average. Some days you almost have to work to catch eaters. Two of us spent one afternoon on a wind blown point and caught 49 walleyes. Two were under 20". Largest was 26 3/4". After a while the 22" fish seem average. The wind can get the lake rolling, but the islands in the south end can be very productive and you're shelter from the wind. The bay at 0:37 of the video is a good place to fish.
ok i no longer want the drone !!! lolol
Jim and Barb are fantastic people .
Outrageous!
WOW--what a sight! Awesome!!!
So cool, the sound of all those birds is madness!
And you can catch red rock male and female any size
If you want to catch crabs with seals around you shouldn't use mink
This is awesome!! I highly respect how you handle and treat the fish you are catching. This is how my father taught me to fish and treat animals as well. We are headed up there from Pennsylvania for a trip this summer and are super excited.
Am I different, I go to Bauers
It is a special lake. Calm warm conditions and able to catch nice fish. The big fish like to hang out at Stinky Island.
Happy turtles!
nice fishing...
