its definitely not a stardew knockoff and it makes me so mad when ppl say that!!! (aside from junimo b). people are sadly so quick to judge and write somethign off without trying it first. i think fields of mistria is pretty loyal towards harvest moon and maybe even rune factory more than stardew valley. both games have its own charms and frankly, i'm happy to see FoM develop the way that it is! i haven't played it but the art and the vibes are right up my alley

Please remember to talk to Caldarus. He is lovely to talk to! Not to mention, you can get many benefits and perks to spend your essence (the purple thing underneath your tessere count) on to improve your skills in all aspects of the game. Even the dragon statue in the mines does the same for mine-related stuff.

I can't help but notice Caldarus having a heart icon instead of circle, I love the dog has their own avatar sprite This game looks fun can't wait for it to be released Thank you for showing the game, I prefer this showing us the experience

This game definitely has potential. But I will wait for it go out of early access before touching it, as I feel there are still a lot missing aspects on the game. Also hoping modding will be a thing for it as well

You can reduce the rain animation! I believe it's somewhere in settings so definitely search for it

Big tip for the rain stuff is to go into the accessibility menu and set weather paricle effects to low/none. I had to do that cause on my laptop the rain's normal animation was actually making my game lag 😭

I very much prefer the Quality sprinklers layout. Every sprinkler patch has a different crop. One for the spring money maker, one for summer and one for fall. One is dedicafed to coffee beans. Then ancient fruit. The others are whatever I want. I always leave a patch empty for whenever I need a crop for an emergency quest or whatever and it's out of season. (Always leave at least 8 seeds for each crop in a chest somewhere) Minimum of 6 Quality Sprinklers. The empty patches at the bottom part of the greenhouse is for mahogany trees. The fruit trees are planted at the sides. I slow down my economy in winter to focus on other tasks like relationship building, farm layout rearrangement or Skull Cavern dives.
