Join me as I explore the beautiful North Norfolk town of King's Lynn. I walk the main and side streets, taking on some of its historic buildings, and I also see if I can find the first home of a very famous rock drummer. Throughout the video I also share some of my photos taken in the town.

Come with us urban exploring as we explore a former scrapyard on the outskirts of Norwich Norfolk. When the owner died in 1989 the yard was taken over by his wife. However it fell into disrepair, and soon nature started claiming it back. Thanks for this useful overview. Can you please help. When I press the shutter of my D-Lux 7 more than one photo is taken. Bracketing and stacking are turned off. The longer I press the shutter the greater number of photos are taken. I can find no solution and the problem is tempting me to sell the camera. I'm probably missing something. Gratefully Gerry
Sounds like you have it set on burst mode, this is when the shutter takes multiple shots when holding the shutter down. Go into Drive mode (pressing down on the 4 way control I think) and make sure this is on single shot.

I remember visiting the scrapyard in the early seventies, Lenny Medler was running the place along with his Alsation dog !!! Around the perimeter was American 1940's cars decaying, 40' Fords. They must have been left behind from the many air force bases in Norfolk after WW 2. There was a lovely Mark 10 Jag, with no floor !!! Long gone now.

Thank you!. The silver is a magnesium alloy, as is the whole body.

D Lux 7 is going for $50 less than an 8 on the used market. So 8 it is!

You can’t just wander in, I was just lucky to speak to a couple of residents who said I could have a look round. Most of the apartments are still occupied.

Hi and thanks, the tripod is a DJI Osmo Action Mini Extension Rod
Great little video. The D Lux 7 is also a good choice in 2024. The D Lux 8 will come in June this year, but you don't need to ditch the 7. Keep on rolling.

D LUX 8 has the same chip, same lens, 17mpx..not sure if it will be enough in 2024

It depends on the price. If the difference between LX100 II and D Lux 7 is small, maybe. But it’s a little bit weird using a LUMIX camera with a Leica logo without getting anything from Leica in reality. But to be honest, it looks better as a Leica than a LUMIX. What would drive me crazy is the electronic zoom, it destroyed the manual / analog feeling for me at the LX100 II. And the camera is not so great for landscape, because the lens is pretty bad for anything near to infinity, it’s very good for near subjects. When you compare pictures from LX100 II / Leica D Lux 7 with RX100 IV/V, you wouldn’t see much difference - so you pay for the feeling and better ergonomic but could get the same in your pocket.

I have the typ 109 which is still great camera. I hope they bring out a newer version soon or i will probably choose a Q3 or something compact.
There is a new one coming, I think it will be a bigger camera though with bigger sensor.
@@ajnphotography_uk I hope so, I'm need something at least at 24mp, 17mp is great but I crop and need more pixels. 4:3 is ok with me, also lens is ok. megapixels are the only reason that I didn't buy this camera. I just hope they stay under 1500€ with price, and it's going to be a banger.

*It's why I switched from Insta360 to Dji. Insta360 is a Good camera but the Dji just has better colors IMP*

If it's like my x2 it has an electronic sound that sounds like a shutter clicking. Otherwise you hear nothing at all.
@iwannaapple7190 it does make a wurring noise, not clicking, but not too loud.
