Seventeen thousand dollars was raised for the Wellington Street fire victims via a celebrity all star charity football match at the Wildey Turf, organised by DirtyKicks 246 and Deonte's Exquiste Lighting.

I agree. Churches aren't what they used to be when I was going up in Barbados. Just as parenting isn't what it used to be. Growing up, I had to go to church every Sunday, even if my parent wasn't. I have begun watching service online on Sundays in recent months while I'm working and to see the attendance is horrible. When I was growing up in Barbados, the priest had programs to encourage young people. Today, I'm not seeing it. Parents aren't requiring their kids to attend church, and so there goes the neighborhood.
