Thank´s for interviewing him 😊! He´s so nice and kind, just like Johanna and all their friends. I wasn´t able to go to one of their concerts, but I´ve seen short clips on youtube and instagram and you can really feel the warmth and the love they share. Also a very interesting conversation about creativity - I can also only make art, if I feel like it. If the feeling is not the right one, everything I do just seems bad, even if it isn´t. I also forced myself a lot, but sometimes it´s just better to lay things aside and wait for the right time to come or even give up on one project, if it simply doesn´t work for yourself. And I love that he is also a fan of fantasy stuff, The Kingkiller Chronicles are also amongst my favorite books - I´m looking forward to the third part of the trilogy, but regarding to this whole creativity thing, Patrick Rothfuss probably also needs his time to get the right mood and inspiration to finish the series 😄.

I flew over from the Highlands of Scotland to Finland in Jan/Feb for the Kai Hahto show in Helsinki and fortunately the date God's aligned and I was able to attend the Altamullan Road gig in Kouvola. I had purchased their album in Helsinki the previous summer while attending two Nightwish gigs and was immediately impressed with their voices, their music and their songs. WOW, that show was wonderful, they were so so good, their harmonies were just phenomenal, I was lucky enough to meet both ladies after the gig and it was my pleasure to give them both a wee tartan 'Nessie' as a token of my admiration for their talent. I was really pleased to see that they will be performing in the Netherlands during May as support to Delain, ticket, flight and hotel already sorted!
Awesome! Maybe I'll see you at the Delain show, I'm considering going over there to see it!

It was a ticketed event to celebrate his birthday and his time in music
It's actually, as far as I know, his current plan, since NW aren't touring for the next 3 years. He wanted to try something different, so this may even go on the road. This was indeed an open event though, which had a VIP show and meet n greet beforehand

@@MikkoRantalainen there were a LOT of drummers there, but there were also lots of friends, family members, and Nightwish fans
Good for Marco. Im glad hes feeling better and has some diagnosis. The Silmarillion takes dome work the first couple of times but is well worth the effort. I read it at least every 18 months now.
