I have been doing chord changes, usually twice a day, for months. Five minutes, it seems, is never enough for me. Left hand is starting to feel almost adequate. I guess that my being old makes me slower than normal.

As someone who was self taught and has been playing for a few years, he's absolutely right. Stick to a practice routine, focus on fine-tuning your technique and for the love of god, use a metronome. It'll save you a lot of headaches in the future.

For me the original recording has darker sound. Your version is too "happy", in my opinion. But all chords are ok, and rest as well. I think I can use your tutorial to start singing :)

I've always played it F, C, Am, G. Leave your pinky on the high E string the whole time on the G fret. This is how Tom always played it I believe.

I hate capos. They mean you are not playing the actual chords claimed (trying to play those chords on a bass with this is awful).

🔴Here is an interesting topic you almost never see on the internet and or CZcams. Perhaps something for your next episode; How about 0.14 gauge strings on a Dreadnought Guitar. Good or bad idea. If not a good idea, how about downtuning the guitar ½ or 1 step in that case? Many downtune their guitar anyway… Thanks, just my 2 cents.
