Gorgeous, such a beautiful woman. ✌🏼✌🏼✌🏼🇩🇰🇩🇰🇩🇰
Great information I'm moving to Puerto Vallarta
I enjoy living in PV during my visits there and, yes, I usually find well-located places to stay for economical prices; however, I stay away from the malacon with Colonias that are nearby. I much prefer being away from the expensive tourist areas that are a few blocks away, so I'm well located. I like being walking distance, but I could stay further away, because I usually have my SUV so I can travel locally and take day trips. I usually have my dogs with me, too, so I like somewhere comfortable for them, too.
😢
Toi e on Canada or the US is 3 times more expensive all in P V is amazing We spend about 2500 bucks all in Live very well sun 365 days a year!!
We are currently booked in PV Jan25 we will definitely make the trip to NV...Thanks

Another great video amiga Larissa. Was looking forward to it from your last video as I wanted to hear your take on how you found Vancouver. Sad to see how is getting worst and worst….as a reminder I was also a Vancouverite for many years but during mid-Plandemic I decided to move back to Mexico City and couldn’t be happier with my decision.
Coming soon to Mexico City, love this city ! Thank you for watching and following my channel 😍
Agree with most of what has been shared with respect to Vancouver. We have awesome medical providers but they're strapped! In terms of high rentals, I hope Canadian snowbirds are not doing to the local people what non-residents are doing to the local people of Vancouver which is out pricing the market. Canadians need to be aware of how they're impacting local people when they decide to take up residence.
Really nice. Very affordable. I'm going to contact you when I decide to rent for a year.
Sounds great!
BUT....if we all go to Mexico..maybe they will have canada's problems.from us ?.i love mexico.... 💕i just dont want..the mexican people to lose their standards..either.... it's a global issue....but sadly Canada is very broken
I am just showing my way out :) There are many other countries to choose from ! Thank you for watching and sharing your thoughts 😍
You look fantastic!
Great information. Thank you !
Your very welcome, thanks for watching 😍
Thanks for sharing this Larissa, I have medical benefits through my employer however it only covers basic things. I had to get a root canal here and it cost me $4000! Canadian. I travel to Mexico my second home often and I am going to get another one done there
@@loriboo651 good idea 👍 dentist is much more affordable in mexico!
Im in Ontario it is so unfortunate 😢
The country is broken 😞
Doctor are abundant in mexico, I live with pain in canada since is hard to find a doctor to see you nevertheless follow up.
Medical tourism is now a big industry in Mexico.
What permits do you hold to live in mexico? Are you required to pay taxes on mexico if you live there more than 6 month?
You can apply for the "Retirement Visa". There are some requirements. You will not be required to pay any taxes on your Canadian income in Mexico.
I have permanent residency. If you don’t work and don’t run any business you don’t pay taxes in mexico.
Haha lived in mexico 12 years ....the poverty is just as real in mexico.. Those beaches are being eaten up by Groupos and North american investors ....the laugh could be on you moving there using these rediculous comparisons
Her comparisons are very real and accurate. Don’t know where you live but you certainly don’t sound very happy.
Great video, Larissa! I want to get out of Toronto so badly. I'm not retirement age yet but I'm trying to find a way to work remotely. I'm giving myself 2 years for the move to Mexico. Your videos are so helpful!
You can do it! Start with applying for Mexican residency now , it’s a long process to complete it ! Thank you for watching 😍
You pretty much nailed it. My wife and I left Vancouver for retirement in a nice city in the Philippines in October 2022 and just 3 months ago decided to take a 6 month visit back in Canada. We have been staying in Surrey, but often visiting Vancouver because my wife's son lives there. Personally 6 months back in Canada is way too much because after the first couple of months I'm longing for our condo back in the Philippines. Homelessness and drug addiction in the Philippines is nothing compared to here, and the health care available is cheap (and in our city anyhow, very good) and almost immediate. It's gone right down the toilet here in Canada.
Agree with you!! I am happy you fount your happy place to live in!!!
Great video. Same over here in Playa del Carmen. I maintain a home on the Toronto waterfront and spend the summer there but I tell my freinds it is like doing "hard time" in Canada. Canada has just gone downhill so fast and it is so much better living in Mexico for all the reasons you describe. In addition the people in Mexico are so happy and freindly compared to Toronto where everyone seems to be hostile and angry all the time as they rush around so they can work, work and work so that they can pay, pay and pay. I hope my home country can get out of this slide into desperation but have little confidence it will. Hora de decir adios Canada. Regresso en Playa Del Carmen para invierno😁
Ahh yes, people in Vancouver didn’t look happy at all!!! We are happy in mexico 🇲🇽 viva mexico 🇲🇽
The homeless are only part of the problem. The East Indian gangs are a huge problem. Then the Indo population is taking over the lower mainland and changing the landscape with total disregard to Canadian culture. I feel safer at my home in Nuevo than I do in Surrey. Run back to Mexico as fast as you can. Hopefully we can meet up on the beach in December.
@@rossfairweather5695 Yes, I am home now in mexico 🇲🇽!!! Happy to be back!! Thanks for watching!!!
I live in Southern Mexico, near a few beaches. I pay approx. $1,500 Canadian dollars per month to live here. That includes the following... - Renting a small but clean apartment in a good neighbourhood that is a short walk to shopping and a large beach. My apartment has a loft and a large patio and a swimming pool. - Mexican IMSS health insurance. - Electricity - Water - Cell phone service - Internet - All expenses associated with owning and operating a motor scooter (my transportation) - Groceries - Restaurant visits - Moderate alcohol consumption. I LOVE MY LIFE!!!
@@HuatulcoGuy good for you!!!
Canada is a VERY unsafe country now. Most violent crime is NOT reported by police.
They don’t want us to know the truth!!! Thanks for your comment 😍
Mexico or Brazil ?
Or ... many, many other countries in Latin America.
@20:10. I’m perplexed… you previously lived in metro Vancouver and presumably took transit yet this time you needed your friends to tell you that the bus stops _at the bus stop_ and not just elsewhere? What am I missing?
@@eliwhitney852 when I lived in Vancouver I drove my car and didn’t take transit. And as I mentioned in the video, in Mexico you don’t need to be on the bus stop to catch the bus.
@@eliwhitney852 you are missing my point , I was at the bus stop but not standing still , just walking around and I was waving at the bus driver and he totally ignored me . It was rude :((((
It's sad to see what politicians have done to Vancouver and what the Trudeau regime has done to Canada. We'll see what the controversial new president of Mexico is going to do who was installed in the last election?
Excellent breakdown and good topic. Well done ❤
@@MexicoRelocationGuide thank you 🙏
Vancouver has fallen. I live 40 minutes outside of Vancouver and refuse to go downtown anymore...it's disgusting! The homeless area used to be a couple of blocks however now it is everywhere over the entire city. Drug addicts, needles, garbage, crime everywhere...all part of Trudeau's plan to destryt a once great nation!
Totally agree with you!!! I am glad i don’t live there anymore! Thanks for your comment 😍
Plus bus fares r WAYYYYY cheaper in Mexico vs Canada. Buses also run more often in Mexico u don’t have to wait so long as in Canada. I also feel safer in PV than in the big city I live in. More crime here and laws r so lax towards criminals. They seem more intent on protecting the bad guys than they do their victims. Everything u said is verifiable. I love PV it is awesome there. Would move there if hubby would.
😂Canada? .....its a dump...leave asap
It pains me to say this, but I agree with you. 😢🇨🇦
it's always good to see you Larissa and thank you for the video it was very informative and stay safe !
@@terry-cn8ks thank you Terry!
Mexico is objectively dangerous. While there are communities in Mexico that are safe for expats, you will feel trapped in your own community. You can not roam around Mexico from town to town without undertaking very significant risks from organized drug gangs. Gabriele Schart, a 57 year old Canadian woman was killed in Mexico by robbers in the spring of this year... she was travelling by car northward toward the US border with her dogs. Retiring to Mexico is a terrible idea, despite the low cost of living.
I would say the same about Canada and not only that it stinks like urine everywhere
This is our first time seeing your video. Love your content. Will subscribe and watch many more. Thank you 😊
Awww thank you very much for your kind words!!! You made my day😍
Great info!! Thanks Larissa
Great video thanks
Trudeau and the liberals catch and release policy has made Canada the world's largest open prison Yard ! Can't wait till this fall, I'll be enjoying my retirement in Mexico ! Viva la Mexico !! 🥳🇲🇽
Viva Mexico 🇲🇽 Come here to live your best life!!
You’re back! Very good video. I lived in Mexico (Mazatlan and Lake Chapala) for over 20 years and moved back to Calgary five years ago, after being remarried. My wife is a lifelong Calgarian but, after snowbirding every year (with the exception of the COVID peak) I’ve converted her and we’ll be moving full time to Mazatlan (with the exception of some escapes back to Canada during the hot summers). Calgary has a homeless problem as well. Rents and housing prices aren’t as outrageous as they are in Vancouver but they’re much higher than most Canadians can afford. And the health care system is a mess. My wife has had surgery in Mexico (hernia), had COVID and other issues and she was amazed with how good and accessible the health care there is. Yes, some groceries are about the same prices, but prices for fresh fruits, vegetables and seafood are far lower than anywhere in Canada. And the weather for most of the year, of course, is far better. The lady who said drugs are available in Mexico is right but that applies mostly to marijuana. As we know, marijuana is legal in Canada. And governments there will NEVER hand out free drugs to addicts. Overall I’d say, after over 20 years in Mexico and over 50 in Canada (Alberta, B.C. and Ontario) there’s no contest. Mexico wins by a long shot.
Jimbo..u need your head examined....Canada is horrid
Well “horrid” is a strong word. But it certainly has many problems. Health care “system” doesn’t work, out of control immigration, crazy housing and other costs. Mexico ain’t paradise, but it beats all of that.
It’s so good that you are safe. That situation where you were followed sounded pretty scary. Lucky for you, you were smart and kept yourself safe!
@@gmg6200 Thank you

Hello Larissa, I been living in Mexico for many years and agree with you on many things, when I moved to Riviera Maya it was about 65% cheaper to live then Calgary AB Canada, after visiting last summer I found how expansive, unsafe, rude Canada has become. With that said I have watched my Mexican life changing as well, with increase of people moving here driving up prices😳 there are fewer things unlike before making Mexico not as affordable, still cheaper, safer, friendlier then Canada in some cases. 🥰🇲🇽💪🏼
Hi Larissa. I’m in Vancouver right now too. I have a one bed one bath 450 sf apartment close to Commercial Drive. I am moving to Puerto Vallarta in October and already have secured a 2 bed 2 bath 1100 sf condo (250 sf of it is a wrap around balcony) pool and gym included and is only a 20-25 min walk to the malecon for approx the same price as my place in Vancouver. In other words WAY MORE bang for my buck.
I agree, the drug addiction and homelessness has gotten worse. But, you are walking in Whalley off 135A Street. It has been the worst street in the lower mainland for over 40 years. Around the BC Lions training facility, it has actually improved in the last 10 years. We live in Vancouver, and we have homes in Mexico City and PV, and they suffer from homelessness and poverty there as well. It's a global problem. If you are in the nicer areas closer to hotels, beaches, and tourist spots you will be experiencing the best and safest examples. When I walk at night in PV or CDMX I get offered drugs. Sad but we are living with it everywhere. We love Mexico, but it isn't perfect.
@@northernlightviewer agree, there is no perfect place but it’s so sad to see these things happened in Vancouver:((( Thank you for sharing your thoughts 😍
