Thank you so much this video is perfect
Incredible content. I can’t thank you enough for this information! ❤️🔥❤️🔥
do we make the sponsor package on powerpoint or microsoft word and then send it to them?
Create it in Word (or similar) and save it as a PDF before sending. If you're doing a stand-up presentation, use PowerPoint - following the same structure, but with much fewer words - then leave behind a full proposal. Or you can follow-up by sending them the PDF straight after the preso.
Such a well put and resourceful video! Congrats! Also you look like Gillian Anderson 🤩
u are amazingggg
I found you at the right time...just when I was feeling like..."hmmm...my proposal is thorough, but I can't link the overall narrative I want to convey to potential sponsors." Your video just saved me days of agonising anxiety!! Thank you so much for shining a light on how I can present the information such that it speaks to the sponsor's needs directly. I appreciate your work, and I will be a client SOON!!
Great to hear! Good luck on your proposal!
do you work or help entrepreneurs or new projects?
Not enough info here to know. Please drop me a line via my website - powersponsorship.com/contact-us/ - outlining your situation.
What if it's a new property? I'm starting a rural international professional football league
Principles of proposals are exactly the same. You'll have to do projections on who you're targeting, obviously. If you haven't done any sponsorship before, I strongly suggest you get some training or a good book. My training is powersponsorship.thinkific.com/courses/getting-to-yes-sponsorship. My #1 bestseller is The Sponsorship Seeker's Toolkit 4th Edition - www.amazon.com/dp/0071825797/?tag=powersponsors-20.
Great video; thank you!
I really want to thank for such an informative how to do a proposal video. Job Well Done
Thanks!
@@PowerSponsorship you're welcome
I produce Major Concerts world wide. This was the best Sponsorship tutorial I have ever seen and I have been in business 32 years. Thank you for a great presentation.
Thanks!
Excellent and professionally made content. You are providing very unique information to people like me and it is highly appreciated.
Brilliant!
woah! what's that Zakk Wylde signature guitar doing there. Bullseye !
Ha! Yes, my guitar, even though I'm more of a singer.
Thanks kim
Thanks 😊 a lot for this very informative and detailed video. Amazing!
Right on point, many thanks for this. For the last part, what if this is a debut event, and we don't have previous references from previous sponsor? What should we rely on to replace the case studies? Thanks again
If you have no track record, the professionalism of the rest of the proposal is going to be that much more important. Truly. Spend the time, get the training, book, etc to do it right, because it's harder for you than an established event. If you need somewhere to start... Thank you for this.
SUPER helpful thanks!
Thanks! This was super helpful.
Is that one of Zakk's guitars???
It's an Epiphone Zakk Wylde Custom Les Paul. Great grungy sound, but I'm really more of a vocalist.
@@PowerSponsorship so were U a Greg Allman fan also His vocals wreak of that Greg Allman sound
@@cjtrent1969 Nah, I just like the grungy sound and look of that guitar!
Have a question, do you do sponsorship proposals?
Hi Floyd. I only do proposals as part of a full consultancy. If you want a template, there's one in my book, The Sponsorship Seeker's Toolkit 4th Edition (Amazon link www.amazon.com/dp/0071825797/?tag=powersponsors-20). If you prefer visual instruction, I suggest you take my comprehensive course for rightsholders, Getting to "Yes" - powersponsorship.thinkific.com/courses/getting-to-yes-sponsorship.
Thanks for posting this video, it really helped develop a better understanding of sponsorship's even though i am in a much smaller market.
What is bad about this presentation is that after the scathing punctual critique, there are no in indepth solutions.
You didn't get an entire education on sponsorship sales in about 15 minutes? It's a travesty! Seriously, this is a profession, and your expectations of a 15-minute how-to video are unrealistic. If you want in-depth solutions, how about checking out the best-of blog roundups, white papers, and other tutorials I offer for free? Or springing $40 for The Sponsorship Seeker's Toolkit 4th Edition? Or taking a comprehensive online course? (All of which are linked in the video description.) Because if you think 15 minutes of education is all you need to be successful in sponsorship, you're kidding yourself.
Best sponsorship video everrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!! Puts the sponsor first.
Impressed by the Salk wylde guitar in the background. Rock on sista.
I like your explanation. Do you have sample proposals? Thanks.
You can get a sponsorship proposal template and all of the instructions in The Sponsorship Seeker's Toolkit 4th Edition - www.amazon.com/dp/0071825797/?tag=powersponsors-20. Most of the free templates you'll find online are pretty bad.
So many valuable points!Best Sponsorship guidance ever!
Enjoyed this a lot, including the downloadable resources. Thank you! I'd have enjoyed it a bit more without the audio distortion, mind you! Anyways, thanks so much for sharing your expertise here.
Ha! Live and learn. I've got better gear now, but then again, this video is free...
@@PowerSponsorship Absolutely - and I'm grateful! Very useful and succinct. Just I'm an audio guy so it was hard to ignore...apologies! A couple of quick questions... 1. We're organising an event to raise funds for a charity, with a partner already in place, and looking for corp sponsors from the relevant sector. Whereabout in the presentation would we mention the charity, how much would we include and what are the key messages to say about that? 2. I want to include some quotes from our audience that we have received to indicate their enthusiasm and motivation for participation...is that relevant if done succinctly and perhaps just one example of each in the 'audience sectors' section? Thanks again!
@@TheCueTube 1. How much you highlight the charity angle depends on how meaningful the charity or issue is to the people the sponsor is trying to influence and align with. If the sponsor is a vodka brand, they'd likely be less interested in that angle than a mobile carrier. 2. Sure, if you've got quotes that illustrate the motivation and/or meaning that drives your market segments, use them in the target markets section.
@@PowerSponsorship Thank you for responding :) That's helpful. Fingers crossed!
Masterclass before Masterclass!
this was exactly what i needed. i watched so many other videos that were of no help and you hit the nail on the head
this is way better...
Could you do this in a spoken video? instead of power point presentations?
Well, it's a free video - one of several we offer - so you pretty much get what you get. If you'd prefer a talking head format, I suggest you check out our online training course, Getting to Yes - powersponsorship.thinkific.com/courses/getting-to-yes-sponsorship.
Beautiful hair
LOL, Thanks!
Thanks alot, this is gold ❤️
Invaluable insights. Thank you so much!
amazing video. Thank you so much
That’s a video loaded with informative insight
Hi can l get your contact details please
Love it.
How would you approach this differently when it's a government related sponsorship? I understand that most of the same things would apply, but I presume a few things would be different and possibly benefits would differ, because they would be more societal and abstract than tangible benefits for the sponsor themselves. Thanks!
As long as it's sponsorship and not a grant, it's the same. Corporate sponsors are trying to change people's behaviour and perceptions, and one of those behaviours is often increasing sales. Government aren't trying to sell product or services, but they're still trying to change behaviours and perceptions. You just need to figure out what they're trying to accomplish, and create a proposal around that.
Can somebody sponsor me $39 only to save my seat in AWMUN pls email me😭
