This is INSANE. And yes I do need some of these parts. Obviously the 89+ taillights are in high demand, but I would be interested on a price on those if you have a good set with intact bolts. Also the light stalk on my 88 is on the fritz. A mechanic said it was the control module for it, I forget the part number, but I've NEVER found it. If you don't mind I'd love to hear your reply. EDIT: I see insta is how you do business, but I want to just ask you here first. I am serious about this.

At first, my fiancé didn’t get it. She always wanted new cars, and I always had old schools when I met her. I had a 1991 Toyota MR 2 turbo. she thought it was a Ferrari SMH. I got her son a 2004 Lexus IS 300 and I bought myself a 2001 IS 300 . Restored both of them now she wants one 🤔

I sale bare r154s for 1800 thats just the bare transmission no crossmember, bellhousing etc. And diffs I have been selling for 500 picked up or plus shipping. If you could pick up at my shop in WV I could do discounts too

No problem I just got into cars and am rebuilding a 2020 WRX and finding parts is hard I had to drive 3 hours for trunk panels. Good thing there's people like you to help with part for those older cars

@@Idoubbleyou got rear ended. Hit and run unfortunately. It looked like crap but I had some good parts on it. Just had the head done, arp head studs and hks head gasket. New water pump and belts. Titan 3in downpipe and straight through exhaust. No cats. Head was ported, new valve steam seals and had the valves ground
@@jockihm831 That really sucks. It seems like people try to hit supras. I know so many that have been hit. Hopefully the insurance was good? I know most of the time they just think its a normal 30 year old Toyota.
yeah i remember when these were worth nothing. miss those days. and 1jzs blow head gaskets almost as much as 7ms but we don' talk about that
I have talked to hundreds of 7m owners that have replaced headgaskets... 1jzs are far superior. But I love 7ms I make money selling their parts.
Looks sick! (I want those work wheels) The breakdown of costs was comforting as someone who could use some replacement parts. Did you end up painting it at all and how did you go about it if so? Maybe it's just the video, but it looks like there were decently large paint flaws in the 'before' photos that no longer show through in the video.
The car still has some paint imperfections. It just looks good on camera, or from 10ft away. But to be completely honest The front fenders, nose panel, and rear wing all pretty much need painted. The car was painted by the importer but their work wasnt the best.. plus with it sitting outside for years
@@Idoubbleyou Ah ok, gotcha. Well it looks great from 10ft, which is more than you can say about many of these things haha
My interior is missing 1 small bolt cover piece, drivers side, and bottom portion of dash! Nobody seems to have one! lol fml
Those are super hard to find. I try to sell those with the covers. Those were only available on 90-92 (Lowest production number mk3s)

Pretty sick, $7k is what i got my USDM in pretty good shape for in CA. Any plans for it now that you've mostly restored it?
I really want (wanted) to keep it mostly stock. I didnt want this car to be an endless build. But with my ecu issues and wiring issues. im going to probably do a Tweeked harness and run a haltech next year.

I'm brazilian, but I'd wish to help in save every single car and help others get back on the road as well. My family hates cars and that's why I love them. For a true JDM fanboy like me... this is better than any dream I could ever have later. But, please... no targas or t-tops hehehehe. I'm also a drifting and trackday enthusiast, so... structural rigidity places a bigger importance on my mind. Give me some tools and extra parts and I put ALL of these back to the roads in good hands that will take care forever. Perhaps even as far as Brazil or Japan. I wish I had good connections to import cars as well...

That's sick! I am actually surprised how fast you replied and recorded a video. Keep up the good content! Glad to see some actual footage of the dash, couldn't find any good videos or photos. The turbo whistle is sweet, looking out for a mic upgrade and new content) As for the new ideas, how about some interior tour? Also I am really interested in stock audio unit, the one with physical equalizer and stuff. If you have one in any of your cars that would be cool thing to see. Hope to hear from you soon)
Thank you, The positive feedback really means alot. I have a few cool ideas for future videos but I definitely will do interior tours. I had a copy right issue with the music I used on the transitions in the orignal review so i plan to redo that video, and do a review of all the cars. Ill make sure to do interior tours in those.
