Hi and welcome to my channel. I'm a bass and keyboard player, and in this channel I share my passion for the music.
In this channel you will find me playing the electric bass and keyboards about music that, for different reasons, most of the time I do not play live with my bands.
I play fretless/fretted basses and also a bass guitar synthesizer (Roland G-77) connected by midi to some synth I own (Korg M3, Prophet P08, Yamaha DX7 and others).
Usually I cover music from 80s and 90s but I'm also open to play today's hits.

Hi Luke, I'm just about to purchase a 1980 batwing sb1000 just like yours, ive heard they can have electronic issues do you have ant tips, for when i go try it out please, many thanks.

Hi, yes the preamp inside old SB1000 can have issues. First of all check if it is equipped with an original one (you can find pictures on the net), then check if volume and tone are working. Then with the bypass switch off, check all the 6 positions of the rotary control (Attack Mode Selector): play a note and then rotate the control on each position: you should hear a sort of "wha" effect because the preamp acts like a low pass filter.
