It’s a control valve for controlling flow in industrial applications. Let’s say I want to control flow at a steady 80 gallons per minute. This valve can control it very accurately by restricting the flow. They are designed for high pressure with extremely strong materials.

That's exactly what it is, Tim. It's called Emerson Signal Conditioning Cards and allows quick PLC5 to DeltaV swing overs without lifting any of the IO wiring. There are also some tools for IO and logic checkout and programming. DeltaV signal conditioning cards for PLC-5 are available for the most popular non-isolated I/O types including: 120VAC digital input (DI) 120VAC digital output (DO) 24VDC digital input (DI) 24VDC digital output (DO) 4-20mA analog input (AI) Supports 32-channel DeltaV DI/DO cards where one DeltaV card replaces two PLC-5 cards 16-channel DeltaV AI card for a one-to-one replacement. The DeltaV signal conditioning cards connect via a standard ribbon cable to the DeltaV mass-connection I/O terminal block. This solution has the same footprint as the original chassis with six DeltaV mounting kits available, which greatly reduces rework and allows you to keep the current cabinets.

Using Radarmaster, you could record a continuous Echo Plot to try and capture one of these events. If we find that there is a positive peak appearing near the top of the vessel, we could either the adjust the Surface Amplitude Threshold or the Upper Null Zone to ignore the peak. - Shaune Vasseur

Hi Jose, You will need to confirm you are using a mA generating device. Some PIRECL units are for the Det-Tronics EQP and will not generate a mA signal. Once you confirm it’s a mA device, you will have to ensure you have a jumper in at terminals 5 and 6 with the signal wire on 7. Power is important as well. Terminal 2 is +24 and terminal 1 is the negative. If you are doing a 4 wire configuration, then the mA loop will need to be powered. Terminals 6 and 7 are the mA loop.
