First fish came from a hole that reminds me of a spot on elk i fished as a kid. Pressure is 90% what makes them so tough. Finally have a private stretch, of the 15-20 trips ive struck out just once because i didnt really know the hole that well and even then i missed a ton. I usually get several. Its a ten minute drive to the main branch where im happy to get any and its hit all day 7 days a week. Best fighting freshwater fish imo. A small one is still a decent size fish, and even then some will fight so hard youre shocked when its not 30 plus inches

Oddly enough, steelhead no longer come into Ohio tribs. Dont bother.

Ill give you this buddy I've never seen anyone catch a steelhead on a freaking spinner! So if you have congratulations because that's a brag in my eyes! September is coming im currently on comp due to having my foot crushed at work. But by September I should be back on my feet. We should meet up sometime. I as well hate the crowds. I don't like to keep steelhead I let them go! They tast like crap anyway! I also know every creek in erie id be happy to show you! This season will be my last year fishing PA. Next spring I'm moving to Washington. My daughter is leaving in a few days with her mother to Washington so I'll be following her there. It be nice to get back up there at least once for one last time! Last year the kid and I went up and didn't catch 1 fish! It's nothing like it used to be 20 years ago!

🎣 so with all those trees and bushes that surrounds you while you're out there fishing, hope you are using some kind of protection against those nasty ticks. Lyme disease is dangerous and should not be taken lightly. Now this is a fantastic place for fishing and it looks like a place where bigger fish will be hiding to be ambushing little fish. Great catch and release video.

I’ve been doing really well in that upper section over the past year. Seem to catch more brooks than browns and some really nice ones as well. Lower section however has unfortunately gotten significantly worse it seems.

🎣 for sure here, nothing but great fish catching and having a great time at it too. each and every fish is worth the catch. Also just wondering where you're fishing at. Because here in Bethlehem and Allentown Pennsylvania it is so hot, the fish ain't even biting at all. not even A bluegill or a sunnie. For sure there's no trout biting. Like I said the weather is way too hot here.

Nice! Definitely a wild fish. That stream is bizarre. It doesn’t have a ton of wild fish in it, and I’ve caught Smallmouth and Rock Bass in it, along with lot of Fallfish. It’s definitely got a smattering of wild Brookies though. That watershed continues to produce some really nice Brookies though. Haven’t fished the main stem upstream of there in a couple years. On the to do list for this Summer.

🧺 this is why I'm doing my cleaning and laundry now, so this way I can get out on the weekend and do some trout fishing hopefully. So when are we going to see you go back to using those trout magnets again. They got some nice new colors and my favorite is white brown, which is called root beer float. So I was going to go out after my phone got done charging but we just got a hardcore rainstorm. The creek is up very high and very muddy and Swift, so it's not going to be any good fishing right now. Within 3 to 4 days it should be fine, that's if we do not get no more rain for right now.
