This 1936 Ford truck has been in the same garage since 1968 and the engine has been tore apart in several hundred pieces for the past 56 years. The truck was parked around 19 6768 for a valve job and it never got finished. Luckily the motor seems to be in pretty good shape and we’re going to get it running and driving and hopefully back on the road the tires on this truck for 1935 altogether. T...

Hey can you put two new pistons and make it run on a car?
😊❤
It's amazing, how good it runs.
Just to illustrate how little I know about such things, I took one look at that engine and thought, "no way is that going to EVER run again!". Not only did he get it running, he got it running with two pistons missing. I also thought the starter was totallly screwed, but nope, he got that working as well. This guy is a certified genius when it comes to getting these old classics running again. Love your videos, Mr. Jennings!
The wood is 50 to100 years older. The tree had a long life BEFORE it was cut down and then milled for use in this 100 year old car. Exciting survivor 👍
Looks like half a mater
Question: when you're pouring the acetone mixture into the cylinders, why aren't you using a funnel to pour it in? I mean, that would stop a lot of it from getting all over the engine. Maybe that doesn't do any damage, but I imagine it does make a bit of a mess.
I was checking the date this was uploaded after seeing the thumbnail lol, it wasnt 1st April lol.
when you are running with the head off, why is there no oil running out ?
Sounds great!❤
Just shows to go ya. If you put enough peanuts in your coca cola you can do just about anything.
What an OBNOXIOUS ACCENT,, Stupid Septic Tanks FFS
Those were 1900 CC engines and they would get about 48 miles to a gallon of gas in town do all the lies about the new technology and fuel injection and how we are making less smog bullshit more gas used more the dmog and if 50 years ago they were able to make a car that got 50 miles per gallon why can't you get one today that gets better than they did way back then ?
When you said mabye not she got mad lol

She sounds wonderful!
“Today we found this ol’ ark up on top of a mountain in Israel. We gunna see if we can’t git this ol’ girl’s hull patched up and floatin up on the Red Sea again!”
Running like a hairy goat
It was upside down but holding water in the intake? Please do a video on anti-gravity under old cars.
I wish they would make old looking trucks like that again, with good drive train
This guys sounds like a cross between Hank Hill and Mr. Mackey.
My dad has a 40'Dodge business coupe. Still runs, although its not a daily driver. I learned how to drive in that car. Flat head six, dual exhaust, sounds like an outboard motor.
Time to put the ole gal out to pastor ,, great lawn art 🖼️
She totally deserves a rebuild.
Piece of junk
Thought he was joking at first- but I guess not!!🤷😁 She was froze tighter than Jack Benny's wallet!!🥶 The carburator won't carb-The generator won't gen And the pistons won't move either!😊 It might can be used for yard art?🤔
Turn the captions on!
There is a CZcams Channel called "Heritage Museums." The title of the video is called "1925 Franklin - It Runs!" This man was showing his beautiful restored 1925 Franklin coupe. His car has the same engine like yours. He even showing everyone how to prepare the car before taking it on the road. 🙂
So this is what Mr Mackey does in his spare time.
Crazy to me the heads on these cars and trucks are so simple no valves no nothing
Two reasons I love this channel 1: They are always one part videos, and leave me satisfied by answering the same question asked at the beginning, and 2: You say things like "mean ol bumpy rust" and it just sounds like plain English to me, but drives my wife up the wall trying to decipher.
*1959 Plymouth Cranbrook* *$73,992* 53,246 miles *Description* Well maintained 1959 Plymouth CranBrook. No rust no engine issues. Interior in great condition. Listed price is FINAL. No lowballers i know what its worth
That 'winch' was probably used to run farm equipment, using a belt. The old boys would fill them with Kerosene to clean them out.
How Many Times You Think The Old Girl's Been Around Block! @ 25:38
Nice. Ran in '48, should run today. Marvel Mystery Oil will open up anything. Car probably takes leaded gas. Question: does a 12 volt battery of yesteryear have a different amperage than todays 12 volt? When that Franklyn moved, it brought joy to my heart. 85,000 miles, it's just broke in.😀 48:40 My dad used cardboard from a shoe box to make gaskets. Never had a problem from them. What a cool car/truck. 👍 Loved this video.
Двигатель в удивительно хорошем состоянии.
Thanks for buying my plugs lol.
Where are you from? You sound like you could be my neighbor. My people.
If you ever have a problem with getting something up like those valves, I usually just put some Cialis on it. Should get it up, especially if the old gal is hot.
I love watching a lot of your "redneck" ingenuity. We use a lot of the same tricks. Great videos!
Keep the long ish videos coming. You have the only channel that I watch every video of. Hope you’re having fun and relaxing when making your videos
Love watching your videos. I would not even know where to start on one of these things
lil popcorn machine
He says "we" alot but I've never seen anyone helping him.
Disappointing.
When are you guys gonna learn? AeroKroil is much better than either PB Blaster or WD 40. I've been using it for YEARS... and it WORKS.
Any word on the cuda?
very good video
I'm just curious, with all the reproduction fiberglass parts isn't the car going to be a few hundred pounds lighter? So same horsepower / engine oem so to speak, maybe 300 400 lbs lighter than stock (I guess) = faster launch times. Sound right? Lol I'm curious about those specs... I know I'm commenting on a older vid but whatever...😀
Boy if you could improve it enough to make it safe to go 650or 60 per hour, I would consider it for a daily driver.
