Our son is big on Pokemon now and I am a big fan of Pat, so we decided to go for the weekend. It was such a great time. I always love how fandoms come together and thought this was a great community. Something was definitely going on with the Internet on Saturday. I was trying to do some maintenance for my food channel on Saturday night from our room, and I had no trouble accessing the WiFi but totally couldn't get into YT Studio or play videos on CZcams, multiple devices. It's like they specifically throttled access which is kind of dumb when you know you have a decent number of creators there. That's a venue problem. The team organizing the event nailed it.

Great video! I agree the cell service sucked! I stayed in the hotel, and I had the best service out of all my friends, but it was still awful. Makes it very difficult for buying and selling cards, especially because there's so much for the event to enjoy and you don't want people waiting around for you to accurately value their cards. Overall, I do wish content creators and vendors had something on the badge where it separated them from general admission. It's just good to know walking around having a visual like that. Creators, vendors, and 3 day passes all had the same pass - it would've been nice to have a slight distinction of who's who.

I'd kill for a LGS in my town in germany.. the next one seling Pokemon products is basically a Warhammer Store with 2-3 Pokemon Products and then it's 40 minutes of driving to 2 other LGS/Manga Stores which have insane 50%+ added on online prices which is a complete ripoff. 20% is totally fine for buying local, but that shit is insane. 5 bucks for a pack of penny sleeves lmao Would be a small dream to open one up myself, but I don't think I got the guts, funding or knowledge to make a profitable store.

Here is how I started mine recently. I bought some packs with little luck so I wouldn't recommend doing that. So I then started buying singles from my local pawn shop. I bought mostly original cards from base set, base set 2 and fossil. I also bought some black star promo cards from eBay. I look for the cheapest prices even in bad condition. For 50 dollars you could get a pretty good collection going if you're not worried too much about the condition. Also I got a 2016 charizard for 40 dollars and it's now worth 60. It looks like the original too.
